Great spoy

My wife and I had a simple breakfast here of a croissant and bread roll with freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee. Everything was super fresh and tasty - the only let down was the coffee which was burnt. The service was friendly and the price of just €6 per person was tough to beat.

Curry mussels were delicious. It looks like a great place for dessert, everyone around us had one. My husband had a cod dish with risotto that he polished off.

Stumbled upon this great little restaurant on our last night. The food was amazing and well presented and had some live music outside (we dined inside due to the children and time of evening). Right at the end of the street market with great staff who never stopped working.

Easy to find on the main street by the river. Good shade on a super hot day. Also pleasant indoor option. One of the waiters made an effort to speak English. Oysters fantastic. Goats cheese entree and fresh salmon also great. Squid for the main - different to what ever had before and loved. Fresh white fish with risotto for... More

On the front one of the best in this crowded road, haute cuisine at not too outrageous prices but watch the price of the wine. A place to also watch the crowds it needs looking for.

A great place to have lunch in the port of La Rochelle. The mussels are very good! The staff were nice enough to seat us even though they were incredibly full.

We went there on our last night at the beautiful city of La Rochelle. The location couldn `t be better , right in front of the Vieux-Port. We went in the early evening and the restaurant was very busy. All the tables outside were full .I don `t know if they have tables inside, but I haven `t seen anyone... More

We had a nice dinner in this restaurant; oysters for starters and a main course that was tasty and had a good presentation. Reasonably priced. There is a nice harbour view from the dining room, but the rest of the interior is rather dull.

We ate at the '28' based on the good reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. We arrived early in the evening, having not made a reservation and because it seemed fairly small from the outside. In fact, once inside and particularly upstairs, you can see that the interior design really maximises the space available, although at the... More
