A bit dearer than the others but FAR superior. Good meals throughout the day too. More a glorified cafe than a restaurant but well worth a visit.

We enjoyed a very good meal as a family of 4 having mid week lunch. The service was very good with the waitresses being very attentive and helpful and the food was served in good time. We had steak, a salad and sea food dish, all of good quality and good value c Euro 10-16 per dish. This is one... More

We had a lovely family meal here on the last night of our stay - overlooking the port, watching the sunset, soaking up the evening atmosphere - brilliantly located. The staff were really attentive and the food was great! I had wonderful scallops, husband had lovely salmon, kids had crepes with their own choice of filings accommodated, great icecream for... More

Visited this restaurant many times on our trips to La Rochelle. Breakfast ,lunch ,coffee an afternoon beer or evening meal it always pleases. We visited last night when it was a very busy night as their was a music festival in the streets .....which were mobbed. The waitress recognised us from our breakfast visit and found a table quickly. We... More

Stopped here for breakfast after noticing it seemed fairly popular. They only served the 1 thing but it was very nice. You got a hot drink, fresh juice, a lovely croissant and some warm , crusty French bread. Aldi came with butter, jam , etc. all very good and waiter very friendly

An informal cafe brassiere that serves good food at a reasonable price. Breakfast is 6 Euros for the typical coffee/orange juice/croissant/bread and is all fresh, as you would expect. Had a crepe mid-afternoon and another late evening and they were good considering the price. The staff are all very friendly and make the experience eating here all the better.

We had the typical bar breakfast here: bread, croissant (melt in your mouth!) jam, coffee, orange juice for 6 euros each. The sun was out, and we were watching the world happen around us in the harbour ahead, the market to our left and the town to our right. The waitress was very pleasant, efficient and helpful. Although she was... More

We arrived in La Rochelle late on a sunny November afternoon and headed straight for the port. We found this restaurant in a prime location looking across the harbour in bright autumn sunshine. It was s bustling place with service seeming quick and busy. We sat down and waited and waited, eventually a waiter (!) came and took the order. I... More

We ate here after returning to La Rochelle from a two week bicycling holiday in Charente, Charennte-Maritime and the Vendee. The service as helpful and attentive, and the galettes were tasty and filling. Prices are probably inflated due to the harbor-side location, but so what. You're on vacation.
