Quality excellent, quantity small

Been a couple of times. Had the mixed starter for two excellent. You do need to state strength of curry you need. Food is excellent quality, just need more. Watch the prices for the nan bread. Wine good quality. Struggle to find Indians in France, this one is better than most.

Two of us went for lunch. It was Thursday; there was no-one else in the restaurant, though one man did collect a take-away. We chose the "Menu du midi" at €11.50 for 3 courses. There are several choices for each course; we started with onion bhajis and vegetable samosas. Both choices were okay, but I thought the filling of the... More

I have been several times over the years in this restaurant and after 4 years paid a return visit for lunch this time. The downstairs restaurant is small with 5 or 6 tables, but I know there's more room upstairs. The waiter in traditional clothes was in the beginning not very welcoming, but when I made a mistake to 'break... More

It might seem a mad thing to do but we love Indian food and we eat it where ever we can when we visit a new place. Not surprisingly however Indian food in France is a bit of a disappointment as local tastes for non spicy food are catered for but we persevere and boy am I glad. When visiting... More

After a nice welcome and a correctly made starter (Chiken Tandoori and Chicken Korma), accomplished with very good nan bread, we got two mistakes of main courses: My wife ordered Chicken in curry without mentioning the strength, and I ordered Lamb Karahi at madrass strength. Her was completely tasteless (I didn't know that curry could be delivered completely without taste)... More

Came in to a restaurant where we almost did not dare to speak, a very calm ambiance, even for a romantic dinner. Waited 25 minutes to get a beer that have never seen the fridge. Took a menu for two person, the food was ok, but really nothing special, the waiter tried to do his best, but alone at work... More

I agree with previous review didn't appear to be anything remotely spicy on the menu ordered lamb vindaloo which was not very hot and the lamb was very chewy, nan very poor and prawns in the other curry we ordered tiny. Disapointing
