if you are carnivorous, this is a place to try.. The menu has a very extensive range of cuts and types of meat, steak, lamb, pork (plus omelettes). Each serving contains a large amount of tasty meat of very good quality with a standard salad, homemade chips and very reasonable pichets of wine to help wash it down. As mentioned... More

Reccomended by our hotelier, a genuine traditional fayre restaurant specialising in local limousin beef. Very welcoming, super meal very reasonable. Menu and wine list., not extensive but allows concentration on excellent standards. Probably only about 50 covers. Best to book we were lucky but others were turned away.Closed Sunday and Monday.

What a great little find! Terrific venue, owner/chef, staff. All food cooked over wood embers in a huge firepalce in the restaurant - what a atmosphere! Limited menu but don't be put off. If you like cheese have the 'house special' - a whole camembert warmed in the fire embers - Marvellous! For mains I had the rib of beef... More
