Perfect for lunch on market day!

Why on earth did we leave it so long to return here? We have recommended La Quichenotte many time to our gite guests, but not visited ourselves for too long. Our lunch made a perfect end to a morning at the vibrant Saumur market and, as always, was excellent and good value for money. A copious... read more

Ours was a late lunch, so the restaurant was fairly quiet. The food and service were good, and I would not hesitate to return.

This lunch was just delightful and was an excellent value as well...which makes it worth the trip to this restaurant. Though the name has "creperie" in it, they have a full standard and menu 'formule du plat' as well. We had a beef filet, a fish dish, and a fantastic homemade caramel sauce crepe (don't miss that). Service was very... More

Enjoyed a nice ham, cheese, and mushroom galette accompanied by a nice cider. Crepe belle Helene for dessert was ok, but not great. Not much pear and the chocolate sauce was a bit overwhelming. Perfectly fine indoor dining. The church across the street is being remodeled so the front door is about five feet from remodeling coverings. No outdoor seating... More

This was fast food at its best. Excellent, friendly service. Agood menu with plenty of choice. It was exactly what we wanted. Don't think we disliked anything!

We found this restaurant tucked away by the church in the Place St Pierre, alongside several other restaurants. We had the set mean for 14.90 euros. The food was fresh and tasty but not adventurous, the service friendly and helpful and the house wine was good value. The surroundings are basic but clean and comfortable. We'd definitely go again.

This excellent Creperie used by locals and tourists alike is worth finding for good reasonably priced meals. We were a party of 4 adults, 1 toddler and a baby with a push chair and the staff were all so very helpful in accommodating us. Our lunch was varied and we all enjoyed our choices very much.

Went to this restaurant for lunch and found a nice table outside. The service was slow, it took a long time to get some galettes. Prices for the galettes were fine, the drinks were very expensive.

Although the work is still not finished on the church, this little creperie has managed to garner a few more outside tables for its use on the square. The inside has also had a refit and is more fresher and more appealing. Gallettes and cider are the mainstay unsuprisingly and are very tasty. You can eat for 6 or 7... More

First went to this place four years ago and it was great, so felt a return visit was in order. Food is excellent and great value. Staff charming and attentive. Would definitely recommend.
