We enjoyed the location in the centre of town. The decor inside is really inviting and we were given a friendly reception. We chose from the set menu and each dish was perfectly cooked and presented. It's a fish restaurant but there was a selection of meat as well as fish. Very good value for money and the staff worked... More

Close to the centre of the old town we found this gem of a restaurant. One of the few that offered a fixed price menu in the evening and had several choices for each course. Very friendly staff, good service and value for money.

Although I don't eat fish or seafood my partner does and said his starter and main were very good. They do offer meat and other dishes on the menu which I chose, they were well cooked and presented. Restaurant in centre of town with good outside space and seemed very popular. Friendly and efficient staff.

One of those occasions when the starter and the dessert were sensationally good, but the main was just so-so. The steak was not a good cut in one of the main dishes, and the fish in the other over-cooked. Both sets of vegetables boiled senseless. A shame because the location and decor are excellent as is the service

A very good meal with tasty food and pleasant staff - ate here on market day and had the set menu. A very good experience which I would recommend without hesitation.

Visited last Sunday and had the 16.90 Euro menu. Plenty of choice. Good terrine de poison, followed by duck in orange sauce with frites, carrot and haricots vert. Mousse au chocolat to follow. Never had a poor meal here - traditional French, seafood, etc.

This was my second visit to LGB, this time for my birthday. We went on a Monday evening in early April and yet the only table vacant was a large one. We didn't book and as far as we noticed no one was turned away ( and in was indoors only seating). In summer/ busier days unless you arrive very... More

we arrived without a booing just after 7pm on a Saturday and were shown stratight to a table. Within 20 minutes they were turning people away as all the unreserved tables were taken. If you can, make a booking. The service was prompt, and friendly and the food cooked to perfection and presenteted beautifully. The entire menu , including the... More

It was Sunday and everything was closed at noon. Me and my boyfriend found this place and knocked at this lovely restaurant's door e for our surprise the food was really good! We had oysters as entrees and they were really amazing! The sauce of the house was just perfect with the fresh oysters! Soon the restaurant was packed with... More
