You will always remember La Poissonerie, its such a fabulous restaurant, everything is so fresh, you know how fresh as they run out of dishes later in the evening so dont have old fish. All the staff are wonderful and the chef came out to speak to us so we complimented his cuisine. Its a fantastic whole meal experience that... More

Excellent fish and seafood restaurant located in the center of Nantes. The food is very refined for a very reasonable price. The team is friendly and efficient with a fantastic Maître d'hôtel who will answer all your questions about the products used including many varieties of cheese.

Ignore the other reviews! This was an amazing experience! Not a great location and with construction it was difficult to find, but the staff was understanding about our late arrival and seated us in this quaint marine inspired restaurant. We offered many challenges. Not only were we late, but we spoke English and our guests spoke Japanese. The maitre d... More

I went to "La Poissonnerie" because I read a lot of positive good reviews. It was big mistake. There one thing that I cannto accept when I go to restaurants: that I do not receive for what I pay. La Poissonnerie is very expensive for the quality of service and food. It is true that the venue is warm and... More

I am glad that I chose lobster as the main dish. I once wanted to try something else but because of the previous reviews I decided to go for it anyhow. Proved that I made the right choice. Their lobster is fantastic! I love the sauce, nearly the best sauce ever had. I just loved everything in this restaurant -... More

was recommended by our hotel clerk as a very good & classy albeit pricy fish restaurant. This proved entirely true. Not the best location but once inside, a great place with tastefull marine deco. Great Maître d'hôtel, with good advice. Good service despite some stressed apprentices; Great fish and lobster dishes & good wine (a nice Chinon Rosé - a... More
