Steak and French fries

Not much choice in the menu, but you can't be disappointed. You'll have good meat, cooked to your taste, French fries galore, green salad, nice desserts and red wine. Be sure to book or you'll have to queue up outside...

After living in Nantes for almost 5 years now and going to restaurants twice a week (at the very least). This is what i can say: a place we have to visit while in the city. Simple and consistent but very good quality and very good service (i can see some QC/QA methods). 100% recommendable even there's need to wait... More

We waited in line for this much touted steak frites restaurant. They only have one item on the menu and they do it well- steak frites! Once seated, we were completely ignored by the servers. Tables to our right were waited on and tables to our left who were seated well after us were waited on. When we asked the... More

Constant quality for a standard single menu of beef and frites. Good selection of a limited number of Bordeaux wines. A few desserts available

This is such a simple evening. Your only choice is how you want you steak cooked. Loved the salad and the bread to start. Steak and the garlic sauce was fantastic. The house red wine was a perfect selection. My only suggestion was to try and make the chips less greasy. Other than that it was wonderful.

Excellent steak in a superb sauce with a bottomless supply of lovely fries. This in the only choice and but it's been this way since 1959. The starter is salad with walnuts and dressing. I recommend profiteroles to share as a sweet much too much for one. The staff are good fun and help to make this a dining delight.

The place is packed in the evenings. Try to be there before 19:30, otherwise you might be seated in tight places. The lady manager is welcoming and the environment is cozy, although tight.

Great place for lunch or dinner in the centre of Nantes. One dish on the menu; steak served in an amazing buttery mustard sauce which is delicious. Your steak is served sliced on to a silver platter left on a warming candle stand on your table. Fries served and a waitress circulates the tables carrying a huge platter of more... More

Wow! What a concept! I'm a big fan of "La cigale" and huge fan of "my resto", both very different style and not cheap but hands down this restaurant can give them a run for the money in its very own way! I was not expecting much as I got there, broken window by the entrance door, none impressive looking... More
