Fab experience, amazingly huge salads

Great little place. Had to wait a little for a table but the food looked so good it was worth it... I had the humongous chicken salad and some chips on the side. My husband has steak, salad and chips. All reasonably priced. We shared a bottle of vino too... 14% hiccup! Lovely, highly recommend :-)

Set in a narrow and cobbled street, hilariously crowded an kitch decorations. We were there on a busy sunday evening, service can take time, understandably. Servitrice was lovely, menus made from old books. Food was great and moderately priced. Highly recommended.

Stumbled across this restaurant when wandering Nantes and were instantly drawn in by its unique decor and good looking food! The design of the restaurant is unique with all sorts of mismatched antiques. The food was amazing and portion sizes huge leaving everyone satisfied!

Good reviews on TA so went looking for Chez Amman & found tucked down one of the many little side streets in Nantes. Sat next to friendly locals who's son had spent 3 months in Hastings NZ, small world. I ordered the Caesar salad & the man the vegetarian salad. They were huge! Full of fresh crunchy lettuce, red cabbage,... More

Family visit with the ten year old who liked the decor. Menu is substantial and servings are large by french standards. The salad was huge and had everything but the kitchen sink. The moule frites was very good although not likely very good for you. Cream is a wonderful thing when used correctly. Didn't have room for desert but saw... More

The restaurant convinces by a very fancy interior and good food. It is small - do not expect any privacy. Anyhow the interior is really unique it is a pottpory furnitures from the 70's and even later. The walls are full of pictures, commercials, toys and other trash. For the menu they replaced some pages of an old book. Upstairs... More

Visited this restaurant in October with a few colleagues. We are not from France but we have been in France several times. All of us had different courses from the menu and I believe no one was disappointed. In fact we were all really happy that we stumbled upon this little restaurant. The service was really good and the language... More

We only had a short time in Nantes, and one of our boxes to tick whilst there, was to find some excellent Moules Frites. And indeed we did here.....Moules Frites a la Creme, absolutely delicious!!! 16 Euros was a little pricey, but they were very good. Busy restaurant, but they were happy and quick to put together a table together... More

place looks like, but certainly not like this, this is a trendy bistro made up by fleamarket furniture with a changing menu. We've been there twice once with kids, recommendable as there is a lot to discover and once with friends who enjoyed it very much. So for short, nice place, good food and quircky service. A place to remember... More
