...absolutely fresh, and beautifully presented. Friendly and accurate advice on my wine choice. Presented the meal slowly, as l had asked; not cheap, but good value for the top quality. I'll be back, it's excellent.

Went here on a rainy Sunday as most of Angers was shut. What a disappointment. Maybe we chose the wrong dishes - other half had the sausage which he could not eat at all. I was looking forward to the eel but had a deep fried fish that was smothered in butter and garlic that was edible. This was the... More

This is one of Anger's old favorites, and rightly so. A good range, with oysters a speciality. The service is good, the prices acceptable, with a good selection of local wines. Well worth a visit.

Staff are beyond friendly and don't make you feel out of place to ask for help. But they beat you to the opportunity to ask, by giving you suggestions in a friendly manner. When I asked about mussels in white wine sauce, which wasn't on the menu, I was answered with it being served to me in under 10mins. Home... More

This is our favourite restaurant in Angers. Visited this restaurant many times. The staff are very professional making it a great dining experience in lovely surroundings. Oysters are to die for. Wonderful steaks great choice even a set menu, never had a bad meal. Even better when the weather is nice and you dine outside. Have visited on business and... More

A very nice, cozy restaurant offering nice meals and friendly and efficient serrvice. A typical French brasserie loyal to the tradition. Go for the set menu (formule / menu de jour) and prefer the house wine. Friendly and efficient staff.

For our first dinner in France in over 20 years, we revisited this classic French brasserie. It was exactly what we wanted - steak-frites, escargots, cheese, a nice house red. Food was well prepared and delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the passing show as well. Service was friendly and unrushed.

The waiters were very friendly and service oriented. The quality of the food not memorable. The main course a bit undercooked and the wine selection a bit on the lacking side.
