Good food well served in lively but cosy atmosphere

On route to somewhere else we stopped here late on a Sunday night for some food. The inside was busy but not noisy – a nice mix of lively buzz but without too much. Service was good (but very limited in English), and the food was filling and well presented – not basic but not too fancy either, with... read more

We've eaten here numerous times on our regular trips to LeMans and always enjoyed it but I fear it's under new management as last night it was dreadful, sadly! The pasta dish I chose was really just a bowl of fresh pasta with the odd toasted pine nut, large lumps of garlic and some red strips that were supposed to... More

We were a group of 16, and we were visiting Le Mans. Thank goodness for Tripadvisor and it's reviews! Thats how we landed up here. Most of us had the menu, which had a choice of Pizza or Pasta. The olive bread that arrived on the table before the starters, were simply to die for! Fresh-baked, and some had sun-dried... More

One of the best Italian food experience so far. A big plus is the price. We chose to try Menu lunch and i must say we were absolutely not disappointed. Some takeaways - Decor - excellent, trying to bind in the Italian theme definitely works Maintenance - excellent, the place is dusted, cleaned and the tables are set properly, it... More

The warmth of a refrigerator in terms of welcome. Poor veal scallopine (tiny and few) invaded by a trio of vegetables that all tasted the same. The owners should reread French law and know that free bread is a legal requirement. All in all, a restaurant that gives itself airs. When you leave a restaurant, you should feel that you... More

My wife and I sat outside to eat on a fine evening. The food and service were first class. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, and would have been more than pleased to have eaten inside. After looking around in Le Mans - what a lucky find. Would certainly recommend.

glad to find an open restaurant @ 6.30 on a Saturday, after a long drive. Good choice of reasonably priced dishes & wine. Fascinating interior decoration. Obviously popular with local residents. Will use again

Headed here on a recommendation from my parents and they accompanied us once again. I really liked this place- the decor is warm and friendly and the staff are very patient. There is a great range of pizzas and pastas; you can choose your pasta and your sauce. I had the rustica sauce and it was very delicious. One negative... More

A very wet day on a Sunday in Le Mans, lucky to find this Restaurant was open. Very good welcome. Menu mostly pasta, lots of different types, We choose two dishes, one Risotto & the other Tagliatelle, but the waitress said the portions were very large, so we had one dish between us. Good advice as the Risotto was a large dish, served... More

I thought the food was nothing special, a bit boring actually. I had the Tominata - which was the worst part of the meal, hardly any tomatoes and tasteless cheese, Tagliatellle Calabarese, really boring, hardly any sauce and pasty pasta, three slices of Focaccia La Tagliate, best part of the meal actually, 1 small glass of red wine, 1 small...
