We went here with out twinning family Saturday evening. The meal was a 3 course and each course was as interesting to look at as was the taste. I had scallops to begin, Beef as a main and cheese for dessert. They catered for my wife who is vegetarian without any issues. Well recommend a... read more

On a self tour of Le Mans medieval town we stopped for lunch. The plat du jour was wonderful, desert a delightful finish. Service was excellent given we are French challenged and the young lady who served us was good at understanding us. Would return in a minute.

We took an exploratory self-tour around the old town of Le Mans and based on a Trip Advisor review dined at La Ciboulette. We had a wonderful meal. They did not speak much English but were happy to deal with our rudimentary French. We had 2 children with us who thorougly appreciated the food. It was beautifully presented and tasted... More

We visited La Ciboulette in May 2014, after a recommendation from our b&b host. We enjoyed the food for the most part, but felt that the quality of the dishes varied quite a bit, and more attention was paid to their appearance than the quality and taste of the food itself. For example, the sliced pork filet which my daughter... More

It was a rainy night in late April, with only two of us in the restaurant. Service was good enough, meal was alright if you like it minimal and aren't too hungry, but the lowest price bottle of wine was 30 euro. I realise restaurants have overheads to pay, and no doubt the taxes they pay to the Le Mans... More

I didn't really enjoy any of dishes but my friends did like the food. I will agree the dishes were innovative like the fish paramentier and the trios de lupin but still lacked something, the proper combination of flavours perhaps. About 50 euros person including drinks, I don't think the price was fair for the quality offered.
