Just down the road from the cathedral, this place had a good setting overlooking a garden when sat outside under the canopy. The waitress was a bit peeved with us when we got fed up of waiting and sat at a spare table. She soon warmed up and was friendly and helpful. I think that they were just understaffed as... More

We visited on Saturday 16th August, so during the popular 'La Nuit des Chimeres' festival. The restaurant is also in the Old Town, close to the cathedral. Therefore, perhaps no shock that the service wasn't rapid, but our waitress had reasonable English to match our average French (!) and was friendly and helpful. Menu is, unsurprisingly, grill orientated, so we... More

Food was slow coming and although edible not fantastic . Coffee was served black although I had asked for white . I ended up taking them to the bar and pointing out the mistake and was told they would bring the new ones out to us ,which arrived 10 minutes later and cold . A Dutch couple on the next... More

We arrived when the restaurant was quiet so had very good service for our first two courses. It then became very busy and we were sadly neglected to the point of irritation which spoilt the rest of the experience. Nice food but fairly expensive.

The conclusion of Ann-Sophie D's review is spot on, though for us the service was perfectly adequate. The food was correct and reasonably priced. We sat out on the covered extension the other side of the very quiet street, which was great in hot weather and gives the opportunity to admire the old town architecture. But all in all nothing... We stopped by after a stroll in the old town in Le Mans; After waiting for like 15 minutes of waiting I took the menus myself; very poor service... Once we finally did order our food; some of us left for a stroll in the streets; waiting for that long is quite nerve-racking... Food was ok, but not that special...

We went to this restaurant as we thought we would have a change from "Nez Rouge"on a dat when many other places were closed, what a big mistake. The place was poorly run and the food was very poorly presented. We had to send our entree back as it was tough and luke warm. The whole experience was a disaster and not what... More
