We were a group of six who ate at La Billot on their beautiful terrace on the saturday of August bank holiday weekend , Great set menu although a busy night the service was first class , if not confident in French "le patron " is a fluent english speaker we were expecting a Paris " sur Mer " attitude... Booked the day before and thank his for that as they were what they call fully booked as we arrived. Now fully booked is... More

Away from the busy beach front but still a vibrant and popular place. Booked here for my birthday after reading all of the positive reviews and experienced the same. Everything was great about this place - friendly, down to earth staff, relaxed setting (we were on the terrace). We had a 3 course meal for 2 adults and 2 children.... More

We had to book a table here as we couldn't get in on our first attempt, and I'd certainly recommend people to do that. It's not too big, is very busy and popular, but fully deserves to be - it's excellent! The food is superb! My wife chose fresh fish of the day and I had steak - both dishes... More

This is a restaurant that you must visit! The patrons really know how to look after their customers and it is clear that they take great pride in everything they serve. The fact they produce many of the ingredients themselves is quite evident as every dish was completely delicious. We dined here on a November evening and we were very... More

This was rated 4th out of 89 on Trip Advisor restaurants in La Baule so we were looking forward to our evening meal there - and we certainly weren't disappointed, the meal was excellent and very good value for money. We ate outside on the covered terrace and although it was early October, it was comfortably warm. Great food and... More

We walked the central streets of La Baule looking for a restaurant for tonight and nothing really stood out. We came back to our Chambre d'hote and started to use TripAdviser and reserved a table at Le Billot. As we arrived it turned out that it was one that we had rejected for not having sufficient seafood. We had a... More

Very small menu but excellent products and very welcoming management. Prices are very reasonable for la Baule and this quality. Limited number of clients accepted (under seating capacity) on purpose.

We visited the restaurant a mid-summer evening and were positively surprised by the staff's warm welcome. Cosy atmosphere in the terrace, nice food, lovely home-made yogurt, good red wine recommended by the house, friendly and effective service. The coffee was a bit mediocre, though - a small but important detail for improvement in future.
