We did the Plat du Jour. The usual choices but we were so surprised at the presentation and the waiter gave us great wine suggestions. Steak cooked to perfection. English accepted.

Expect nothing but true and honest French cuisine from this great place. Seasonal produce, sourced from local producers, well thought platters... And menu to be fair... as well as the selection of wines... Honestly, French philosopher Boileau used to say "what is well conceived is clearly articulated and words to express this come easily"... Trade words for cuisine in that... More

So may restaurants in this area you feel you are taking pot luck but it looked intimate from the outside and...took a chance. What a gem. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and spent a pleasant couple of hours over diner. By eight in the evening it was packed...always a good sign when it is mostly French... More

Dined here whilst on a short break in Rouen a few days ago. This restaurant is on the small side but pleasant and central. The set menu at just under 20 Euros was rather limited but it suited us and each course was well prepared and presented. Service was pleasant and unobtrusive. There are quite a number of good wines... More

Looks nice from the outside and is in the Cathedral square so one expects to pay the tourist dollar however the food was mediocre and the wine not good. Plus I hate it when the waiter is superior, if they were that superior they wouldn't be waiting on tables. We were advised by the hotel to go to the other... More

Outstanding food. As good as you could ask for. Its small and a bit cramped and not too fast, but the service is friendly and our waiter's recommendations were truely delicious especially the turrine and the recommended wine was very good at a reasonable price. If you're in Rouen don't miss this one.

Wonderful place. We were welcomed so warmly. They were happy to speak French to me and English to the rest of our party. The food was delicious. It's tucked down an atmospheric street that is away from the crowds. Highly recommended.

After checking several restaurants on this street, we settled on this one and very glad we did. The staff and owner were extremely friendly and attentive, but not over bearing. The food was excellent, especially the tuna steak my wife ordered. Very good wine, and the lemon merangue for dessert was super. Nice and cozy, and seems a number of... More
