We visited LaMarmitte on a rainy and cold Friday night. Lovely setting with a decor of muted colors, lights are a bit bright for an intimate feel but the restaurant is overall very comfortable. The warm welcome and easy yet attentive service leave nothing to be desired and allow you to enjoy the evening fully. The food was exquisite, a... More

Had it not been for the recommendation of our hotel concierge, we might have missed out on this great dining experience. It's only one block away from Joan of Arc church - but not one we would have walked by in our touring of the historic city. The host made us feel like we were visiting family - it was... More

What a find, very quiet and delightful service form Monsieur with a nicely educated winelist. We ate extremely well form the €43 menu which was really good value. The food was exquisite and we were able to match a half bottle of the second wine of Chasse Spleen with the main course - very nice.

We dined in this small restaurant after being let down by the nearby Michelin Star 'Origine' restaurant (we had booked on the website two months in advance, but did not receive a reply). The restaurant is in a quiet side street, but not far from the bustling Old Market Square. We had the 'Decouvertes' menu (4 course), preceded by an... More

We had dinner on Friday 30th May and very luckily managed to get a table as it was almost fully booked . We had the fixed price menu which had plenty of choice and was beautifully cooked. Extras included a selection of nibbles with our drinks and small sweets and cakes with our coffee. A very enjoyable evening, nice atmosphere... More

This is a really lovely small restaurant, just behind the Place du Vieux Marche so it is easy to miss. We ate here on a Saturday night and were glad to have booked as the place was full. This gave the ambience a pleasant buzz. The menu had 3 set options at different prices and an a la carte. The... More

This restaurant was good, but slightly on the expensive side. We like French food, but perhaps this is not the ideal place for vegetarians or pescaterians as there is very little choice that does not involve meat. Also, the waiters do not speak a lot of English so make sure you have a dictionary or a phone app in order... More

Welcoming staff Good menu, well executed Good wine selection Not cheap but definitely great value for a nice meal I would suggest that they do away with having a menu without prices for the ladies - felt a bit out of date / sexist

We ate some terrible food in Rouen until we discovered La Marmite by looking in the Michelin Green Guide. Like many great little restaurants La Marmite does not have an extensive menu but what they do they do very well, It was so good we went two nights running. and I had the fish in a seafood sauce both nights....
