What planet are these people on who have written these raving reviews. I really do rely on trip advisor before I book a table at any Restaurant, I can honestly say this is the worst meal I have ever had in decades of eating out in France. I really do not writing a negative review but the food is not... More

We stayed in Rouen for 2 nights.in the second night we went to eat at the La Pecherie. Stephan the owner welcomed us as we were the first at 1900 early evening. He had translated the French menu for us to English and was overall very nice. The dinner itself was superb!!! All the courses (3 of them each)different for... More

Went to have a 'fruits de mer' (seafood) platter at noon, together with my wife. After a rather disappointing seafood experience two days earlier at one of the so-called "best restaurants" of Etretat, we decided to try a seafloot platter again. It was top notch quality : a nice and general selection of various treasures the local coastal waters have... More

We hesitated before gong in. Approaching from the river bank the place seemed very uninspiring as there was no view into the restaurant and no clue as to what we could expect other than the menu on display. Throwing caution to the winds we took the plunge. Our gamble was rewarded with an excellent meal. Fruits de Mer, delicious fish... More

Literally just returned to our hotel after eating at this gem of a resturant. After reading the reviews on here we sort out this resturant as we have a love of seafood, as said before is a little hard to find as is of the main strip, however follow the map on here an you will get there no problem.... Everything about this restaurant was fantastic, incredibly helpful staff, very welcoming and the food was spectacular! I had the Plateau de fruits de mer which was second to none! accompanied by a bottle of Cotes De Gascogne Les 4 - Reserve which was the ideal accompaniment to the large dish! Highly recommend this restaurant for the amazingly fresh fish.

At first a bit strange; if you enter from one side it is one type of restaurant and then we climbed a number of stairs to another type; all the same place. But immediately made welcome by young enthusiastic staff who could speak English and explain the excellent menu. All aspects of the meal were great and the wine choice... More

We had the best meal, service, champagne and wine at La Pecherie! We were in Rouen to have a break from Paris for a few days and this restaurant came highly recommended by some locals. It did not disappoint! The place is small and only has a few table so you have to make a reservation and the chef only... More

We had a very pleasant moment with my family going there. The fish dishes are cooked perfectly and people are really nice, even if we had to wait quite a bit till our food got served. Prices are reasonable and the place is charming.

To find this superb restaurant one needs to enter the Place basse vielle tour and get to the middle of the car park. on your right you will find a large building with stone columns to the façade. go to the end of the building and turn left, it is behind this imposing stone building, it was described to me...
