Nice Bistro well situated

We went to Le Bistro D'Arthur on a Saturday, taking a chance on the fact that we hadn't booked. Although it was busy we were welcomed warmly and the service was very good throughout. The food was phenomenal as was the service...in particular Nelu, Victoria and Marie who could not do enough to make our night a memorable one. Many thanks, Tres Bon!!

Visited at a quiet time, having had it recommended to us. Service good and friendly and food ok but nothing special and could have been better.

We decided to take a chance on this place despite the mixed reviews. Boy did we regret it! We got the grumpy, rude and very annoyed waitress from hell. She banged plates, cutlery, impatiently poured wine, splashed it across the table at one point, slammed down our plates on the table, would walk away if we even took a second... More

This restaurant is very close to the Vieux Marche but far better value than those on the Square and at least as good when it comes to the quality of food. There is a great atmosphere and the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. So good that we made the unusual decision of going back rather than trying... More

Having been to France a couple of times I was looking for my usual hit of escargots and cheese. This restaurant provided exactly what I needed at affordable prices. The waitstaff were extremely accommodating of our inability to speak French and laughed along as we fumbled our way through the menu and ordering. While there is nothing fancy about this... More

Amazingly, this restaurant is packed with unsuspecting tourists. Large dining room joins two restaurants to one steam table kitchen. Overcooked tough meat sauced with cheap pink sauce. Leftover mushy roasted potatoes. terrible fish with a sauce of old mayonnaise soggy fries Cheap bad wine. Our worst meal in France.

The brochettes were the worst we have ever had. Tough, raw and in edible. The waiter and the manager apologised but accepted our money even though we sent most of the food back. Don't go there!

Had lunch/dinner here. Time difference called for us to eat a bigger lunch, and late, at that. So, we had our choice of seating, and just before they would stop serving lunch. We ordered a two and three course meal. I ordered the salmon plate...delicious...came with a huge side salad....with an awesome trio creme b. dessert. Their Belgium "white" beer... More
