Bijou & blooming tasty

Great little restaurant to get a taste of traditional French cooking. The pudding was superb. Loved the eclectic decor and retro vibe. The owner was happy to advise on wine to complement our meal. Try the bottled cider - produced in the Normandy region. Reasonable prices.

We went looking for good French Cuisine, and that's right what they do at Minute&Mijoté! They offer different menu options, we tried la Formule Complete, with an starter main course and dessert for 31€. They adviced us in the wine choice, and we were very happy with their recommendation. Daurade with a local typical sauce from Dieppe and Brandade were... More

For dinner: First of all we were happy with the wine recommendation. our entree was tomato gazpacho with mozarella and it was the best I've ever had even thought I was in spain before! My brothers main course was filet de beauf with mousse de pommes de terre and mine fish with salad it was absolutly delicious. So we had... More

After a few so-so meals in France this was a real treat. We had a brilliant three course meal here. I still think about the dessert! The service was excellent too, very helpful and made sure we had a good night out. Thank you. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

During our one-day visit to Rouen, we had some troubles locating a good place to eat. The restaurants in our list were either closed that day or too far for us to reach them. We decided to ask the manager of our hotel for a recommendation, and he sent us to this restaurant. I must say that we very happily... More

Fabulous French food, wonderful old fashioned French surroundings. All in all, very highly recommended! Do book a table in advance as it tend to get very busy in the evening.

It is a small restaurant near the market square. The decor is very interesting, many LP covers and posters of old French singers. The same music also was heard in the restaurant. For us who grew up listening to some of these songs was beautiful. The tables are small and are on top of each other but somehow help give... More

This is a must if you are going to Rouen . Just to sit having dinner and try and view all the pictures and "stuff" on the walls will take a life time of eating there but what a way I go? The food is very good if a tad fussy but really good - have a pudding!

Tucked behind the square wehre Joan of Arc was martyred, this is a real French dining experience. The room is like a long railway carriage and if you don't like being too close to your fellow diners, don't go. It is cosy. The decoration is very over the top, like a junk shop but very chic and chichi. The service... More
