This was a terrible meal from start to finish. Waiters were rude and spent most of time chatting to themselves and we felt rushed. Dinner arrived in 5 minutes and steak was undercooked. When I asked for it to be cooked more, the whole plate came back hot...microwave?! Dinner the following day was superb, so we have a good benchmark!... More

Good restaurant with reasonable price. Menus for 15-20 €. Not too many dishes on menu as a result food is fresh and good. I highly recommend the "foie gras" that is one of the best I have tasted.

We have eaten at this restaurant a number of times over the years as it has always offered a consistent standard (and perhaps for the orange flavoured crème brûlée too !) in this lovely but touristy town where not all restaurant experiences have been positive. This visit was no exception. We ate inside for a change but the terrace into... More

Food couldn't be faulted, excellent choice of either fixed menus or A la carte all reasonably priced. Serviced was superb even when we asked to move outside mid meal nothing was to much trouble. Owner was a little cold but the waiter was excellent, fun but still professional not an easy feat to carry off. Everyone was made to feel... More

Relaxed, friendly and good for our two small children. Had a pleasant meal ( I had skate in a cream sauce (do wish the French would skip their cream addiction and go for a fresher approach to fish - but this is cultural rather than a fault of this restaurant)) 5y/o had moules & Frites and loved them, the 1... This was a great place to sit outside on a hot night and have a family meal for 6. Good food, not too expensive, nice relaxed atmosphere Ian charming square slightly off the main port area.

We ate here in an evening during the very warm weather of mid July. It was a busy, buzzing place with lots of customers (I would recommend booking for an evening table because they were turning people away), but despite the fact that there were just two waiters, everything seemed to run like clockwork. Our three course meals were really... More

Excellent Food and first class service that all four of us agree was rated as one of the best meals we have had in our lives. Honfleur is full of restaurants but previous Trip Advisor remarks persuaded us to choose the Le Bouchon that we can confirm matches its reputation as probably the best in town.

Honfleur – Lunch at Le Bouchon, on Place St. Catherine. Excellent oysters and sole, along with a beautiful “seafood salad.” We would return.
