Very average

Nice location overlooking the old harbour. Service was OK, but the food was average. The overall cost was a bit high.

We were astounded by how deplorable the service was at this deceptively nice looking looking trap. Their attitude was quite awful, and we left feeling a sense of relief at leaving a cynical restaurant with horrid arrogant staff. AVOID!!!

Situated on the harbour the location could not be improved. The food was very good quality, well cooked and well presented. One downside was the young staff. They were not up to the usual Honfleur standard. However service aside, the meal was very good.

If you're into being ignored by sullen, unprofessional serveuses; lengthy unexplained waits between courses; a flash manager who's all show and no management; watching staff standing round chatting and arguing; tepid and not-terribly-inspiring food when it does arrive; lame excuses proffered when long delays queried ("Oh, one of the chefs called in sick" - my guess is he walked out... Went there for a June first lunch, been there several times before. As usual the service was attentive and the food was great. Only possible downside is that there is no downstairs toilet. Recommend.

Very enjoyable evening with family The food was excellent, particularly the fillet steak and sea bass. Beware of stating which menu you are selecting from. We have good French, but the waitress should have been a little more attentive and asked which menu. She assumed the a la carte. There was a smaller menu which on this occasion is what... More

We had long wanted to visit Honfleur and on Monday 11th May we made it. The restaurant has the most perfect position looking across the Old Basin at the most amazing group of architecture imaginable. The service was good and very friendly. We had fish soup followed by Moules Marinieres. The food was excellent. My wife had crème brulee to... More

Our driver recommended this spot for lunch, and he made our reservations. It was horrible! They took our order, acting as if they didn't understand English. Then we waited, waited, and waited. They totally ignored us, while doting on everyone nearby. We were flummoxed, as we couldn't comprehend their indifference. Despite many attempts to even get their attention, we were... More

What a fine restaurant in a terrific location. Helpful and friendly team at front of house and judging by the menu, preparation and serving, an excellent team in the kitchen. Frankly this is our second visit and quite often we regret returning to a fine dining experience but glad we did. Great stuff. Recommended.

Fruit de mer Royale served on a plate with no ice, no cutlery, no shellfish forks, no bowl for the shells !! Main course arrived before I had started my appero, my wife's main didn't arrive, service & food here is terrible, nothing more to say than avoid this 'visit once we don't care' tourist trap. The waiter said I... More
