filling food

We went twice, first for drinks as we'd already eaten, then for food. Glad we went back. The food is surprisingly filling, I had assumed I would be able to manage dessert but no chance! Shame as we were leaving later that day so I didn't get to try the sweet options. Looking forward to returning to... read more

Saw this place whilst wandering around Honfleur and thought we'd give it a spin. Started with a pitcher of the draught cider (for the price of a glass in other Honfleur venues). A lovely gallette and one of their speciality crepes later two very satisfied customers paid a reasonable bill, well worth a visit. Very attentive service and even situated... More

Honfleur is place loaded with restaurants! It's a tourist city and therefore most places know you are probably not going to come back. So some places just serve the food, take your money and move on. Then there are the RESTAURANTS of Honfleur. We were there with our photography group for three days. Because Lynette and I are sunrise and... More

We had the goat cheese and ham buckwheat crepe (galette) and the mushroom galette. The mushroom was the winner. The cider is served in traditional bowls and was lovely. It is easy to find and pretty tasty.

The staff kindly agreed to make crepes for us even though we had arrived outside their lunch/dinner serving windows. The crepes were good but not exceptional. The cider was very good. Cider is known in this area. Not like the apple cider we have here at Thanksgiving. Their cider has alcoholic content (though very, very little) and is barely sweet.... More

Lunch crepe appeared to be buckwheat............more brown than most crepes we have had. The menu has many choices, including vegetarian. The dessert crepe was a lighter color and, again, many choices......all good. And, yes, the cider is also quite good. Do not know if they take reservations............we were there for lunch and it was very busy. English was not a... More

We came lately for a quick lunch to test panckakes and cider. Excellent, tasty, good choices, good cider, excellent salted and sugared "crepes" and "galettes". Staff quick and nice. Pay attention to customers. Nice and well decorated, designed restaurant as Cidrerie one. Place to be!

Good honest hearty food washed down with cider in a bowl. What's not to like? The Trou Normand dessert was awe inspiring.

Good way to taste the local specialties! We are beer travelers, but since we were in cidre country, we decided to try the local cidre along with some crepes for lunch. Very tasty!

It was a rainy day in honfleur and we took shelter in this little creperie. It was a pleasant discovery as we just loved the crepes with roasted apples dipped in cinamon and hot chocolate on the side. Its a good place to get kids and spend an afternoon or evening.
