Lovely dinner on New Years day

The food was good. Starters were really good. Lovely presentation and really nice room Service was good, we expected it to be a bit snooty, but it wasnt. Pretty good value.

In winter the city is very quiet and few tourists but this restaurant is well visited for dinner, also by locals. We especially loved the desserts,

Oysters, usually eaten alive. Sadly ours were not. They had been opened some hours or more before and put in fridge and congealed and had stuck to the shells.Safe to eat but not the standard one would expect.. Main course very good a was service

Everything looked good and seemed promising from the menu. We ordered the most expensive menu which looked really good on paper and we are happy to pay for good food. Unfortunately the food was extremely disappointing and very overpriced for what was delivered.

The food itself was lovely but we were palmed off with a wine of an inferior year which we did not order and, when the bill came, we found we were overcharged by €30. The waitress was pretty huffy puffy throughout, which spoiled what would otherwise have been a nice evening.

What a lovely location in a gorgeous square of Honfleur under the welcome shade of trees and with birds tweeting in the evening air. We only had apéritifs here, choosing to eat elsewhere, and we were surprised (when sat opposite an hour later) to see this bar/restaurant close so early compared to others. A pleasant drink in lovely surroundings.

Let's face it...the French mostly have disdain for tourists, especially in peak season. But this place was both lovely on service and food. We ordered Dover sole which was cooked to perfection. The bouillabaise was excellent. The Normandy cheeses were lovely. My only issue is that they served it with nothing but bread, no dried fruits, no nuts...it seemed very... More

Our first night in the area as a party of four we decided on a minor celebration and after looking at the restaurants' offerings decided on this establishment. We all chose from the most expensive set menu, 90 Euros per person if my memory serves me correctly. An absolute disappointment, promised much and delivered little.

When you have tried all the trendy eateries around the picuresque harbout nip round the corner and have a meal to remember for many years. Superb seafood unsurprisingly and great classic French ambience and food. A wine list worth giving your credit card a pasting for.

At our first evening in the Normandy region, this restaurant was an excellent choice to taste the local cuisine. We preferred oysters, sole meunière, king prawns and all were delicious. The service & the decoration were very good. I highly recommend this 1* Michelin Restaurant
