Excellent service and good food. A little on the pricey side but really enjoyed the evening. The tables are a little too close together (but that is being picky). I thought the menu was innovative with a twist on good French cooking.

I will mention this here and in other food reviews so there is context for my review. My husband is a chef, classically French trained, so we do know and appreciate great food and service. At the end of the day, food preferences and tastes are largely personal, so there will always be differences of opinion. Le Breard is top... More

My wife and I spent 2 day in Honfleur and the food was of a high quality, however this restaurant came clearly top of the list, food selection was varied, price points were very good and the wine selection and price was very acceptable. My wife and I choose different set menus and both delivered fantastic flavours with a variety... More

All the lovely ladies serving along with the beautiful meal made this a very memorable evening. The added touches turned a 3 course fixed price menu into a degustation of high quality. I highly recommend this restaurant but be sure to book, not far from Saint Catherine's Square.

We were a group of people and wanted to have three birthdays honored that evening. We were not disappointed as the meals were excellent. We had the menu "Sensation" at €55 that all the guests liked, whatever choice they had made in the menu. The meals are innovative with interseting flavors. The bill, including cocktails, 3 bottles of wine, bottles of... More

Le Bréard has 3 little rooms with 5 or 6 tables each and when we arrived at 8pm was only half full. People however kept coming in until after 9.30 and the place became full, but did not feel as crowded as most Honfleur restaurants. We went for the mid-range menu offering, selecting salmon three ways (marinated sashimi, seared, and... More

We had the mid price menu and a excellent bottle of wine. Can't fault the service and the lamb was exquisite . My wife's exotic fruit soufflé was a wonder. Definately will revisit .

Visited this restaurant based on other reviews and the recommendation of the host at the place we were staying. We opted for the middle priced set menu and a mid-range (42€) bottle of wine, so total cost inc tax & service came to 158€ for 2. The meal was excellent - innovative approach with great flavours and beautiful presentation, the... More

Went in early September and got seated at a nice table out back in the courtyard, which has a very nice atmosphere. Food was all really good, but we were disappointed with the lamb dish we ordered, which really was bland and needed some seasoning. Food presentations were worthy of pictures. Service, while a bit slow, was good. We would... More

Booked earlier in the day when it became clear that the weather would not be suitable for outdoor dining by the harbour, and were very pleased with our choice as we arrived that evening, umbrellas in hand, to a warm welcome. Lovely ambience, tables well-spaced, nice table setting with an 'arty' theme reflecting Honfleur's artistic heritage. We had a view... More
