4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2014 NEW

Went in early September and got seated at a nice table out back in the courtyard, which has a very nice atmosphere. Food was all really good, but we were disappointed with the lamb dish we ordered, which really was bland and needed some seasoning. Food presentations were worthy of pictures. Service, while a bit slow, was good. We would... More

Booked earlier in the day when it became clear that the weather would not be suitable for outdoor dining by the harbour, and were very pleased with our choice as we arrived that evening, umbrellas in hand, to a warm welcome. Lovely ambience, tables well-spaced, nice table setting with an 'arty' theme reflecting Honfleur's artistic heritage. We had a view... More

We were hoping to dine at Sa Qua Na but unfortunately they were closed on the day we were in Honfleur. We end up at Le Breard after reading some good reviews and recommendations. Pleasant ambience and attentive staff although most speak little English. The food was overall quite surprisingly good. I had the foie gras as starter, turbot for... More

We were a multi-generational family traveling through Normandy. It is hard to please everyone. We experienced a wonderful evening of fine French/Asian fusion food. The options were varied and expertly presented. I would caution patrons on the fish dishes. They are prepared medium rare to rare and unless you are a fan, you will be disappointed and have to request... More

Wonderful French cooking. Very innovative. We had lamb and Tourbot that were so well prepared. Amuse-Bouche between courses were delicious. Staff very good. Not a large menu but great quality

The food was fantastic in this restaurant AND amuse-bouche were served between every course. The service was the very best . The decor is updated and elegant . The lamb was fantastic as was the fish. I love oysters and had those as a first course, prepared in an unusual gêlée. While retaining the raw oyster in its original form.... More

Given that I wasn't in Honfleur long enough to sample the large selection of restaurants, for me it was memorable dining experience. The three course diner offered unique choices as did the wine list for excellent value. My entree choice was 5 different local fish cooked 5 ways and I savored every morsel. The atmosphere is informal with an outside... More

Good food well presented but the staff really need to lighten up it was all a bit stiff and starchy. Maybe they were aware there was a restaurant critic in the night we ate there. Good value 45 Euro menu and very good value burgundy for 41 euros. Lots of lovely touches such as amuse bouche. The main of lamb... More

We went to Le Breard for dinner on our first night in Honfleur. The restaurant is pretty informal and nicely decorated however gives no initial hint to the delight that will unfold. The food is simply astounding, not just good but terrific - you'll enjoy every morsel. This total dinning experience including glasses of champagne and wine cost 150 Euros... More

The pudding is to die for! Important things first. The ambience is light, laid back. Found on a lovely quaint street with a interesting tasting menu. I'd highly recommend if you're visiting. We stayed most of the night. Got the impression some dishes were trying to hard, but easily forgiven when wine list and hospitality is top notch.
