Wonderful French cooking. Very innovative. We had lamb and Tourbot that were so well prepared. Amuse-Bouche between courses were delicious. Staff very good. Not a large menu but great quality

The food was fantastic in this restaurant AND amuse-bouche were served between every course. The service was the very best . The decor is updated and elegant . The lamb was fantastic as was the fish. We went to Le Breard for dinner on our first night in Honfleur. The restaurant is pretty informal and nicely decorated however gives no initial hint to the delight that will unfold. The pudding is to die for! Important things first. The ambience is light, laid back. Found on a lovely quaint street with a interesting tasting menu. I'd highly recommend if you're visiting. We stayed most of the night. Got the impression some dishes were trying to hard, but easily forgiven when wine list and hospitality is top notch.

Our meal here reminded us of traveling in France in the 1980s when gastronomic was king and food was wonderfully inventive. Amuse bouche. Petites bouchees in between. We chose Le Bréard mainly because it is open on Sunday and can be booked online through "The Fork" app. It is unpretentious nice restaurant, the food was delicious, the service impeccable and it turned out to be the best dinner we had in Honfleur.
