Great find in a touristy town

We researched on TA and booked this: glad we did as it was superb, and full of French diners who knew where to go. The dishes were of a high quality, staff very professional, and prices reasonable. Would go back.

Amazing... I can't remember the last time I went to a place and TWO of the courses were absolutely stand out, surpassing anything I'd ever had before in it's style. The restaurant is set up like a modern art gallery -- which is sympathetic to the area. The decor is clean and colourful, with any item on display being purposeful.... More

This restaurant is world class. The food is exquisite and the presentation flawless. The service was wonderful and we had a fabulous evening there. I can't think of how it could be better. We simply over it!

Some of the food here was among the best I have ever tasted: the plaice with fish roe and later, the passion fruit sorbet were beyond ace. But there was a lot of gloopy bits too: the entree a sashimi of sea bass had all these different purees which clashed rather. Apart from the two superlative dishes, it wasn't so... More

what an amazing place!! food is just wonderful! great French original cooking with lot of contrasts, flavors, fragrances, odors: it's a fantastic journey in a very nice designed place: in the thousands restaurants in Honfleur, this one is THE ONE to go: very good value for money for such "grande cuisine"!! and last but not least, all waiters are very... I am well aware that this restaurant has some terrific reviews and that was my reason for visiting in late September 2015. I was offered a menu and my wife and I made our choices, I ordered fish and my wife ordered guineafowl. When it came to my choice of wine I ordered red, despite in many restaurants some people... We were recommended this restaurant by a local. What an amazing dining experience we had! The service was professional yet unobtrusive. There was an excellent menu to suit all tastes. All four of us agreed the food was beautifully presented and delicious fine dining. The puddings were amazing works of art. Definitely worth a visit.

We dined here on our final night in Honfleur and it seems as though we saved the best for last. We enjoyed everything about this restaurant, from the minute we walked in the door. While this restaurant does not provide a harbor view, one isn't necessary when the food & service are this exceptional. While all the courses we had... More

Most places in Honfleur are tourist places around the old harbor - lots of beer and fruit de mer plateaus. Not worth a mention. Far fewer are small restaurants on small streets that offer very good, regional, rustic food in delightful atmospheres. Then, there is Le Breard. This is a white tablecloth place, with tables set pretty far apart, beautifully... More
