In a prime location this was a good choice out of many available. Good menu with plenty of choice was enjoyed with an excellent bottle of wine, the mere fact that the wine chosen cost more than the food indicates what good value this was. Opposite the fish market ... one to find

We had the formula menu for just under 14 Euros - really good value, seafood etc, great spot on the front of Trouville. They had outside seating but the interior was very nice, so glad we went inside - couldn't complain about any of it.....

Stayed in Deauville for 2 nights and took the short walk over the bridge to Trouville. Decided to try this restaurant, and was glad I did. I chose from the formula menu which was 3 courses for 13 euros 90 cents. There was a choice from 4 starters, 5 mains, and 2 desserts. Choices were well varied, and the food... More

It's our third time in Trouville, and we were in search of the best and cheapest menu.We tried it, and our best menu in Trouville: seafood platter, good boulots and crevettes, I had salmon, very well presented and tasty, and fromage frais coulis fruit rouge for dessert. My son had a very good champignon and ham risotto. Very happy we... More

My family of 4 popped into Le 142 for a quick bite as we were passing through Troutville. My wife and I both chose the 19.00 euro three course meal and enjoyed every bite of it. The plate of shell fish was perfect. The mild goat cheese and phyllo salad was excellent. For our mains we both had the fish... More

Lovated on the main touristic street, we had good experience by having dinner there. Service is good and the 3 course set menu was lovely. Reasonnable price.

Table for 4 people. we all enjoyed our meals we had a starter and a main each. The wine was pricy. But the food was lovely. The best mussels I've tasted in a while. We would eat here again.

We've eaten there perhaps three times with various levels of success. But the last time was catastrophic with a grumpy old waiter (people shouldn't work at that age). The expensive glass of wine is far from 12.5 cl in volume and you cannot buy 1/4 litre or 1/2 litre. Its either a glass or a bottle which ups the price... More

We visited Le 142 on a bustling August evening. The prix fixe menu at Euro 18 proved excellent value, with tasty fish soup, well cooked magret de canard and a nice cake dessert. Service was improved by a waiter speaking good English although inevably given the restaurant was full there were some delays and we had to ask twice for... More
