Fantastically cooked food.

Dinner for two. We booked before we went, and we were glad we did as once we arrived every table was booked. There are only about 10 tables so the atmosphere is cosy. We ate from the set menu, three courses for 40euro and had a bottle of pinot noire for 32 euro. The service was a bit cold... read more

We spent a week in Normandie and La Petite Auberge was definitely the best dinner we had. Everything we tried was of great taste and very creative preparation. The ambiance is very pleasant and the restaurant is tucked in a quiet street of Trouville away from the crowds.

Went to La Petite Auberge for Christmas Day lunch. They ran their normal menu, which comes in at 40 euros per head (although at lunchtime we understand you can choose to have just 2 courses for 29 euros). We both chose the scallops for starters, which was accompanied by thin slices of fried proscuitto - stunning. The pheasant main course... More

They have very good and fresh food in this tiny restaurant. Only quite costly. Sometimes a little cramped.

Just as a first off: these two towns (Deauville and Trouville) are even more expensive than Geneva! Having digested this piece of information, you should really have a meal at the Petite Auberge when in area. From the agains in my intro you may deduct that I've eaten here at least three times and never once was I disappointed, which... More

Have been coming to this area for many years and never found this little gem before. Yes, it is a bit pricy - we both had the €40 menu, a half bottle of wine and aperitif - totalled €144. That said, will go back again. The food was fresh, locally sourced and well prepared. The service was good and not rushed... More

Excellent restaurant. Small Fresh menu at less than 40€. Perhaps a little slow to prepare dishes. This is not a tourist restaurant as you find in Deauville Trouville

We booked here last minute, on the same day. 21h is the last seating, so we were the last to arrive. Booked here based on TP reviews. Its a very cosy atmosphere, tiny resto. It was being managed by one gentleman. I agree the dishes on the menu are expensive however, we took the 39 euros menu. This included, starter,... More

The quality of the food is undeniable however not worth the price in my opinion. We were attracted by the high ratings in Tripadvisor but completely in shock when the bill arrived. We all had a 3 course meal and a bottle of wine which was quite satisfying but priced as a Michelin star restaurant which this restaurant absolutely does... More

Great service, good food, big wine variety ... at a reasonable price. It's not a big restaurant, less than 12 tables but the quality of the "terroir cuisine" is excellent. It has 1* Michelin and it's not overpriced, as we paid 144 € for 2 persons, for a 3 plate menu with 2 glasses of champaign, a good bottle of... More
