THE BEST

This is one of the the best restaurants in France for me. The meal was super delicious. The owner himself was making service and the atmosphere was great cause it was the only restaurant that was full in trouville in september.

After scouring the menus of every restaurant along the quayside, Le Noroit seemed to offer the best choice and price for us. A lot of the other restaurants offer mainly fish and seafood, with a token choice of meat dishes. Le Noroit does have fish on its menu, but has a wider selection of meat and other dishes. In our... We spent a little time wandering around Trouville looking for a restaurant that took our eye, We were there for lunch, and were specifcally looking for scallops. We had them done different ways, and were delighted with what we received. We had a couple of beers and a local wine, and the bill was about 35 Euro. The restaurant was... More

Chose the 19 euro 3 course formula. There was a varied choice for a set meal. I had mixed shellfish to start, very tasty and fresh. For the mains I had steak which was a very good cut of meat and cooked perfectly. House champagne was a reasonable price and good quality. Waitress was a female version of Frank Spencer,... More

We had one of the formula options which was great value, place is on the front street but we ate inside. The front of house didn't speak English but she was really nice - the waitress was a bit hopeless, forgot the water, opened the champagne & the top flew off & she spilt a lot of the contents over... I was around with my wife and I am usually very careful for restaurant in touristic area. I know Trouville-sur-mer for a life time and I know that they have the best and the worst. We were walking and looking for a place to eat in between meetings and when we came across this restaurant the menu seemed reasonable and... More

We had the set menu who proved to be first class with good quality fresh ingredients. The service was excellent and friendly with no attempt to rush us. To us this is the best of the restaurants along the seafront.

My meal started with a Soupe Poisson (fish soup) which is a simple dish but easy to 'dial in' - not the case here. A large (hot!) bowl of delicious seafood soup was a great way to begin. I had it with one of the restaurants signature dishes - the seafood charcroutte. This dish has a variety of seafood served... More

This is a friendly, well situated restaurant, facing the picturesque little harbour. We chose the 19.90 euros and were very happily surprised. The quality and the preparation of the food were excellent. We had fresh anchovies salad and whelks for starters, steak and carrelet meuniere, a big, thick plaice with butter and lemon, followed by tarte fine and ice cream.... More

At 18 euros for a three course menu you can't expect much, I guess, and we did not get much. A starter of mixed shellfish was good, but fried plaice was soso. The chicken did not seem freshly cooked and tasted like it came from a vacuum pack and had been microwaved. The tarte tatin dessert was dry. Surprisingly, the... More
