One of the better places in Trouville

One of many along the quay in Trouville, but not as cramped as some others and prices reasonable. Menu similar to most of others along here - shellfish, fish, a few meat dishes. All dishes we had were good ingredients, well cooked.

All lovely local produce (rather than Paris imported) expertly cooked with real passion and enthusiasm. Eat off the daily specials board. Particularly good value interesting local fish from the boats opposite. The owner is totally committed and his team are unfailingly friendly, humorous (somewhat unusual by french standards) and highly professional. The total predominance of local french patrons says it... More

The restaurant is located directly on the main boulevard, close to the fish stalls. There is seating inside as well as outside. Prices are fair, and regarding quality the "Noroit" is one of the best choices one can make. Even the locals recommend it highly, and that should say it all. Fish and seafood dishes are house specialties. Service is... More

We were here on a Sunday for dinner. Dinner starts at 7 p.m. - we arrived a bit early and had to wait to be seated. When it opened, we were already the fourth table, and after that, the restaurant was already full! Lots of reservations for that night. My husband and I took the 19,30 euro menu. We had... More

Although we made our reservation on short term notice we got the best table in the restaurant. The food was very tasty, the service excellent - great hospitality! We can only recommend this restaurant, when coming to Trouville. Great value for reasonable price - we loved it!

This is one of the the best restaurants in France for me. The meal was super delicious. The owner himself was making service and the atmosphere was great cause it was the only restaurant that was full in trouville in september.

After scouring the menus of every restaurant along the quayside, Le Noroit seemed to offer the best choice and price for us. A lot of the other restaurants offer mainly fish and seafood, with a token choice of meat dishes. Le Noroit does have fish on its menu, but has a wider selection of meat and other dishes. In our... We spent a little time wandering around Trouville looking for a restaurant that took our eye, We were there for lunch, and were specifcally looking for scallops. We had them done different ways, and were delighted with what we received. We had a couple of beers and a local wine, and the bill was about 35 Euro. The restaurant was... More

Chose the 19 euro 3 course formula. There was a varied choice for a set meal. I had mixed shellfish to start, very tasty and fresh. For the mains I had steak which was a very good cut of meat and cooked perfectly. House champagne was a reasonable price and good quality. Waitress was a female version of Frank Spencer,... More
