We had lunch here today. The set menu was 3 courses for 15 euro, and a children's one for 9 euro. We ate salads to start, poached fish for main and remember caramel for dessert. We got complimentary calvados afterwards too. The place was full of locals and they turned many people away. We found the food to be very... More

Food was average and, although the service was friendly, it did not quite hit the right note. Trouville is full of restaurants along the harbour side and great food and good value is widely available on a short stroll. Restaurants on the front will also offer a better view than this side street location. Cannot complain about much but can... More

No-nonsense good food and excellent professional service at sensible prices. Clearly appreciated by those locals in the know and fortunate that we stumbled across it.

Just returned from Les Mouettes. We tried the Tivolli bistro but it was closed. So we opted for Lee Mouettes. Great Value at 13.40 for a three course dinner. The mussels were as fresh as you could get them, and I could have had a main course of mussels too. The second course of Cod was OK, not keen on... More

Food is ok. But everytime you ask something, the staff always says: dont know please ask the boss. It looks like the boss over direct his staff who is very frustrated and deliver bad service. They have no sense of customer service and is arrogant.

Good value, but nothing to write home about. This has the feeling of a restaurant that does solid business by not disappointing tourists.

We ate there yesterday and the food is about average. The dishes seem pre-prepared and uninspired. The terrine was dry and the accompanying salad was just that...no vinaigrette or other sauce. The main problem however was the speediness in which the dishes were served. We had noticed the previous days that this place was always closed earlier than any other... More

The last week, I came with some friends to a restaurant in Les bains street of Trouville. What a surprise, I already knew the restaurant, it was just that I didn't knew the name of the restaurant. I ordered the mussels, they were good but I remembered that the portion was larger. Perhaps it was because I took the menu.... More

There aren't many places left where you can get proper traditional French food in good portions but this is one of them, and it's reasonably priced, too. In the heart of the town, it's friendly, with a cosy family atmosphere, but quite romantic in a retro kind of way, too. Particularly known for its fish dishes and 'pot au's.
