Fairly decent food but expensive!

Ended up at this eating area as the other restaurants were full with queues outside. This also had a queue, and took 30 mins just to get a quiche, open hot sandwich, 2x bags of crisps, 2x cookies and 2x drinks all for the sum of 40 Euros....yes, 40 Euros! What a rip off, however, they have you... read more

This is a unique experience where your eyes will lead you out in the garden, carefully cared for and where amazing plants have been selected. You can eat in or out; the selection of fresh sandwiches and homemade soups are made daily and served by a friendly staff. They also have monthly entertainment with wonderful musician groups. If you wander... More

We were looking for a quick and inexpensive dining option after visiting Claude Monet's home and gardens and found it here. We dined on soup and sandwiches under a canopy protecting us from light rain showers while overlooking a pleasant outdoor garden area. The line was short and the wait shorter than expected. La Capucine is located conveniently between the... More

After a visit to Monet's house and gardens we were looking for somewhere to have a drink and a snack. We were not disappointed. We avoided the self-service cafeteria and entered the gift shop which was offering teas and coffees etc. A wide choice of different teas were on offer and the Americano was superb. Two slices of a homemade... More

If you want a fairly quick lunch while visiting Giverny, this is the restaurant to choose. You wait in line to order, then bring your food to a table to eat it. The food is good, not great. However, it's lovely to sit outside on their terrace and enjoy the garden and view.

Stopped here for tea and loved the atmosphere. Surrounded by blooming flowers and fun garden items - you will also enjoy shopping here although I wasn't able to purchase any plants since I can't take them on the plane.

A very healthy hip looking place which offers all kinds of variety. It is delicious however a bit pricy. Given the lack of restaurants in this area this place might be the best options given the variety and the nice outdoor seating area.

Walking distance down the road from the Gardens of Monet, we had some drinks. They do offer soup and some lunch items. A nice stop after the gardens.

This local, along with the restaurant on the Car Park, knows too well how to rip off the visitors. Drinks ( Café / tea ) served in paper cups, buffet style service, viennoise self help - all at double regular prices - and no service ! Food quality nothing special, normal, prices ++++

After an early spring visit to the Monet's Gardens, this restaurant provides simple but extremely tasty and healthier meals. Price is fair and you can enjoy a nice outdoor area. The desserts are also very good. It is really a nice experience!
