In the small town of Giverny we were just looking for a small meal. The onion soup at this cafeteria was the best that we had while in France. It is just down the street from Giverny's home.

Great place to stop after touring Monet's gardens. Very casual place with in and outdoor seating. We had a most delicious mushroom soup, avocado salad and baguette. It was friendly, organic and just what we were looking for.

Didn't want a full menu, so this hit the spot.Good selection of baguettes pre-made (had the smoked salmon), quiche (cheese, tasty) and soup (broccoli with small piece of baguette.Perfectly fine for what we were after.

We had a very nice lunch at La Capucine Giverny after visiting the Monet House next door. There were a selection of sandwiches, quiche, and desserts, as well as drinks. The prices were reasonable and the food quality was very good.

Ran in here for a water as I was desperate ( no store in the area) 3.80 really ? I had spent the last week in paris and still found them more reasonably priced at under a euro. Also made to stand in the same line as people ordering food a little silly really. Staff were nice and super efficient... More

Cassolettes were sold out so we settled for a beetroot and goats cheese baguette. It was tasty and the coffee fair. This is a self service restaurant. Sitting at an outside table, watching people and just relaxing was great.

An average fast food café..... in beautiful Giverny... what a shame...... and yes don't be duped by the setting. If you want a hunky baguette sandwich or a small salad... then OK... but if you want something to savour go elsewhere...

I had a terrible experience here. I had the duck baguette but I could not even eat it. The duck looked like was raw, I could not even chew it because it tasted like raw meat and was so stringy and full of fat. I had one bite and spat it out. And 3.50 euros for a can of drink?... More

Dear Madam, Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for this negative experience you've had with your sandwich. With our Chef, we continuously strive to offer a taste of French food specialities, but you do not seem to know well what "magret de canard" is. I must admit it can be surprising for a first try. I regret that you... More

We stopped here since it was on the way to Monet’s house. You order at the counter and take your tray to a table. We ordered the pre-made Le Jardin sandwich to share. Due to the poor training or lack of care of the counter staff, the sandwich was placed upside down in the bag so that the country ham... More

After a thrilling visit to the Jardin Monet we were looking for somewhere to have a light lunch, this was perfect. I could not understand why it wasn't heaving, because the Gardens were, and the cafe at the musée impressionistes was. But luckily for us we had a short line of only half a dozen, which moved quickly. There was... More
