We were staying in a B and B nearby and went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the owners. How right they were! The salmon starter is to die for! The main was delicious and the pudding looked great although I was defeated by 2 courses! Lovely place to dine if you happen to be in Giverny.

We visited early evening and sat outside in the patio. Beautiful view, the staff were very attentive and the food was good. We had the 3 course set menu which was good. Afterwards we visited the gardens of the Restaurant which are lovely. A good experience.

We found the menu to be limited and the food only average. The staff veer pleasant and efficient. Their garden, offered to patrons to view was tired and poorly planted. The meal was overpriced.

Restaurant is located in tranquil environment a few hundred meters from Claude Monet's House and Garden and very close to Museum of Impressionism. The strongest point of restaurant is definitely the picturesque terrace / outdoor garden located just opposite of main building across the street of Claude Monet that is surrounded by greenery. Food was very good, portions were surprisingly... More

While I would rank the food as much more "country" French than gourmet, the gardens here are truly spectacular and worth the price of admission - one must be a user of the establishment to be granted access! There is a certain sense of time and place in the restaurant that speaks of the many great artists who frequented it... More

We loved the fact that all the impressionist artists had stayed here back in the day. The dining room is still redolent of that time and you can soak it up. We had the prix fixe menu which was fine and everything was good or excellent. Friendly attentive service. I did make the mistake of ordering a cognac afterwards without... More

It used to be one of my favorite stops when in the area. The food was always traditional and delicious till last year... Last year I was concerned because my favorite dish was different : it was not good!!! Though it has been disappointing last year, I thought they may have changed the cook, it can't be a chef!!! but... More

Lovely dining room. They had a 3 course set menu which was great value (about €25). The food was so delicious we came back the following night.

Had read numerous positive reviews but for us it was over rated, especially the steak. The lamb was excellent but the accompanying potato gratin was less appetising. However the visit to the gardens at back of restaurant was definitely a bonus.
