On our first night in France after a wonderful afternoon in the gardens we had a great meal. Service was excellent with the waitstaff helping us decipher the menu. After our dinner we were invited to strl through the gardens behind the restaurant. What a treat!

We selected the R. Baudy as our first choice was closed on Monday. At first, it seemed our choice was a good one. The setting in the courtyard was very inviting on this beautiful day. The initial response from the 3 team waitstaff was a bit slow but not unacceptable. The food was delivered in a timely fashion and although... More

Lovely food and helpful service, but also a historical experience in one of the leading sites of Impressionism

Ate dinner in the garden under lovely shady trees. Food not very interesting on 25,90 menu. Starter of walnut salad was exactly that - a bowl of lettuce and a pile of walnuts - no effort to make it look nice. Main course was lamb kebab - meat a bit chewy. Pichet of Cotes du Rhone very thin! It was... More

Arrived at this historic restaurant and were greeted like old friends. The garden was full but we agreed to wait and within 5 minutes a table was free, cleared and re-laid for us. The service was extremely good. They were rushed off their feet and never stopped, all with a really good happy fun attitude. The meal was wholesome, good... More

The title may sound a bit harsh but its true. My first choice was turned down as it was a beautiful day and we wanted to lunch in a pretty outdoor setting and not in a courtyard. The second choice was turned down as even though it was the prettiest restaurant there it has terrible reviews for food and service.... More

We made reservations here for dinner in the "garden" which is really just a shady area outside the front of the bar/restaurant on hard metal patio chairs. The food is cafeteria style at gourmet prices for the experience of eating near where Monet hung out. The service was hit and miss. Some really friendly servers and some which seemed unhappy... More

Avoid this one. It's expensive and the food is mediocre. The decor is a disappointment. I will say the service was good.

We went here for lunch on a recommendation and had a very tasty lunch that had much larger portions than we were anticipating. We went back for dinner and had a light but delicious meal. They do a big business and service was slow at both meals.

This restaurant/hotel has great history. Many famous artists came here to stay and eat in order to be close to Claude Monet. The dining room is very reminiscent of that time period. But, honestly, the food is merely adequate and the service is just ok. It's fine, if you are looking for food to be prepared quickly, but if you... More
