Highly recommended

Attentive (but not fawning or intrusive) service. Great views and location. Wonderfully fresh seafood (oysters); simply and impeccably prepared fish (cabillaud). Reasonable prices, by Deauville standards. Recommended.

We had the best seafood fusion there. Our golden retrievers were welcome on the terrace, and the food was stunning. The only negative is a bit of traffic, but the first bite of fried squid or their own style fois gras or fresh lobster will make you forget about just anything. The St.Jaqs (scallops) with gingerbread sauce fused with a... More

We had a great meal at this restaurant. Warm starters with gambas, squid and scallops – all beautifully cooked. Sole as main course. The fish was cooked with chili and herbs that initially spoke with a low, somber voice, but then rose to a delightful level – never overpowering the star of the dish, the sole. The food felt unusually... More

On a recommendation, we stopped by Le Comptoir while visiting Deauville. We we very impressed with the food across the board. It features pretty traditional French food, so not particularly innovative, but done very, very well. I ordered the Cote de Veau (veal chop), which is clearly a specialty of the house. Wine list was not large, but had some... More

I've eaten here many times, and the food is consistently good. They serve both meat and fish, and have some interesting choices. The owners are charming, but so is the rest of the staff who will, for example, remember which kind of beer you like, or whether you prefer sparkling water or still. Deserts are good, too. And you can... More

After a so so and a poor experience at Deauville - at last a great one! Great surrounding. Perfect, professional and warm service. ... and great food! Wonderful starter... Good T-bone steak for main and then the bear crepe suzette I had in my life... Wawooo !!

The owner and his wife are so charming. They welcome you warmly so you forgive them when the service slows down towards the end. Seafood is very good. Try the eggs with truffe blanche as a first dish. They are so good and the snails, if you like that. You have to reserve as it is often full.

Situated overlooking the marina and a short walk from the Ibis hotel, the restaurant offers spacious surroundings and outdoor seating for the warmer months. The set menu at €30 offers 3 choices for each course - we had the salmon & prawn starters followed by the trio of fish and steak mains, all very well prepared and presented. The staff... More

This restaurant is near to the harbour and is popular with the sailing set. The weekday menu at 30euro offers well presented food with touches of culinary style. My trio of fish was quite delicious, whilst my wife's steak was good.

We dined here about six years ago and returned again recently. The location is lovely if you like being by boats and the Port. The staff are friendly and the Owner is humerous and great fun. We were in Deauville for three nights and dined here foe two of them. I can recommend the Sole and would return again and... More
