This is worth to dine there. The location is super and the food very elegant. Also the people are very friendly and it is in the center of Deauville.

We had dinner at La flambée on a Saturday evening. We booked a table and we recommend you to ask one of the big tables for two in the back of the restaurant. You will have more space to seat. the service was excellent and the menu very detailed and gourmet. I liked the overall menu with the exception of... More

Overnight stay in Deauville so had dinner in the La Flambee, decor from Conrad's 1970 period. Interesting menu and food okay, but wine list prices really over the top. Service was good and fun to see some of the dishes cooked over a open fire. Would we go back, no.

As I read in other reviews of this restaurant, they don't handle critic very well. We had the menu of 29 euros; entree was oysters - very good main dish - was supposed to be plaice (carrelet) with a mussle sauce. The mussle sauce was actually just curry. When they came to clear our table, they asked if we liked... More

We had an extremely pleasant dinner at La Flambee. The place was crowded when we arrived but a table for four was found. You can see the kitchen and there was a pianist. I had a duck confit. Everyone liked their dinner and the staff was very friendly. There was no language barrier. The food here is good but what... More

Friendly service in English, and food and wine that was not so outrageously expensive as some other places like l'Etrier and Ciro's.

We spent a lovely evening here during the Deauville film festival, it was busy but not as busy as I was expecting considering the popularity of the festival. The menu choices are great, lots to choose from and to suit various budgets. My husband & I both opted for 41 euro menu which consisted of starter, main, cheese dish and... More

Great food. I prefer inside, in the terrace the sun can be annoying. The menus are good option, one for 20.50 euros, one for 29 (that I had) and one for 51 I think.

You would expect to get great mussels but no most just disintegrated on the fork. Grilled meats excellent. Wines average but very expensive.
