Our party of six had the most enjoyable meal. Cooked on an open grill the seafood and meat was perfect. The Restuarant was packed but the service was amazing Very reasonably priced. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection. The steaks were the best we have had so far

This restaurant, although slightly off the beaten track, is definately worth trying and very centrally located. When we have visited Deauville over the last 2 years we have been on both occasions. The food is of very good quality and the prices are reasonable (by Deauville standards). I can thoroughly recommend the steaks, which are cooked over an open grill... More

We found this restaurant by chance, and a little help from Trip Advisor, and were fortunate to get a table on an otherwise busy weekday evening. There is an interesting and varied range of set menus available to suit most budgets, and I settled on the €29 menu. I had 6 oysters to start, followed by the fillet mignon de... More

We wandered into this establishment without a reservation thinking from the outside it was just an ordinary diner. We were surprised to discover a gourmet experience for a reasonable price for the experience. The service was outstanding, and several dishes creatively presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our selections of fish items. The pampelmouse dessert was a pastel picture to remember. Moreover,... More

We thought that the food at La Flambée was the best in Deauville by a long mile. The foie gras entrée was superb, while my sardines served with tomato confit and aubergines were fresh and tasty. The duck I ordered for a main course and my partner's tuna were both wonderful and she was kind enough to let me taste... More

This is worth to dine there. The location is super and the food very elegant. Also the people are very friendly and it is in the center of Deauville.

We had dinner at La flambée on a Saturday evening. We booked a table and we recommend you to ask one of the big tables for two in the back of the restaurant. You will have more space to seat. the service was excellent and the menu very detailed and gourmet. I liked the overall menu with the exception of... More

Overnight stay in Deauville so had dinner in the La Flambee, decor from Conrad's 1970 period. Interesting menu and food okay, but wine list prices really over the top. Service was good and fun to see some of the dishes cooked over a open fire. Would we go back, no.

As I read in other reviews of this restaurant, they don't handle critic very well. We had the menu of 29 euros; entree was oysters - very good main dish - was supposed to be plaice (carrelet) with a mussle sauce. The mussle sauce was actually just curry. When they came to clear our table, they asked if we liked... More
