We ate the 5 course menu Intuition. It was superb and is up there with The Fat Duck & The Waterside. Chef patron Anthony delivered a well thought out, beautifully constructed, original menu which was knowledgeably served by front of house. For example, the starter of a veal tartare with cockles, a freshly made warm cheese biscuit, a foam, a... More

Excellent food and service. Contemporary innovative cuisine that delights visually and on the palate. Wines from all producers were excellent and well priced. We all had the 5 courser tasting menu. Starter of potato smoothie with snails and sausage fritter. Fish with smoked foam, artichoke purée, asparagus. Main of duck breast with carrot purée with ras al hanout grape and... More

We had a lovely lunch at this restaurant on our trip to Caen. The food was really delicious, the staff was quite friendly. Definitely deserves its Michelin Star

We have both eaten in many of the top Michelin starred restaurants in the UK but this small restaurant beats all of them. What a meal! Neither of us eat meat so we decided against the taster menu although it could have been adapted for us and at 50 euros is really good value. The very well priced wine list... More

we followed the advice of other trip advisor visitors and lunched here on a rainy Friday in October while exploring Caen for the day. We had the 38 euro lunch and loved everything we were served. Fresh, beautifully prepared food. It is situated on one of the picturesque older streets in town which survived WWII. It is also near the... More

We ate here twice so we'll give it a rest until the menu changes. We're regular visitors to Caen so discovering this place (compliments of a local) provided a welcome step-up in our culinary experience in Caen. The tasting menu was the usual arrangement of amuse bouche (3 little something's...this is why it pays to review closer to when you... More

This is an excellent restaurant. The food is exceptional. We opted for the 'Intuition' 5 course tasting menu and were not disappoined. Every course surpassed the next in flavour, execution and attention to detail. We were especially impressed with the service, which was attentive and professional whilst also being very welcoming and friendly. Not in the least bit stuffy. Being... More

This was our second visit to the restaurant, on this occasion for dinner. We chose the menu L’Intuition @ €48, five courses chosen by the chef (the maitre’d does ask if you have any dislikes or allergies). As on our previous visit, we were very impressed by all our courses, which were not only well executed but also modern and... More

We visited the restaurant for the first time after the Friday market in Caen. The 4 of us chose the €38 menu of 3 courses chosen by the chef. At the time, we were asked if we had any particular allergies or ingredients we did not like. As it was Friday, the chef put the emphasis on fish. The starter... More
