We went to see the tapestry and were leaving for Paris but decided to have lunch in Bayeux. Good choice! Great staff and food. The view outside highlighted the Cathedral. Next time in Bayeux will stop by again

Busy place but staff well able to handle it. Sat outside, lovely sunny eve. Enjoyed the food (3 courses x 3) and wine - can recommend the sausage with camenbert, French onion soup, rustic burger & coffee gourmand, delish!

We ate here on a trip to Bayeux to see the tapestry. The food was good quality and plenty of it. I had an ice cream for dessert and my husband had the cheesecake. Both were delicious but only for the faint hearted. I just about managed to finish mine. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Interior was beautiful and added to the enjoyment of our time there. We had taken to getting croques everywhere we went due to the affordable menu, and the fact they were served with salad. We also enjoyed an omelet which we split. I cannot say that the food was outstanding, but enjoyable and we had a wonderful time. We sat... More

We are Americans, had 2 meals there, and were treated with friendly and efficient service! We were a party of 4 plus a child. Each time the food was excellent, and the staff was very accommodating with the child's menu. To mention a few dishes that we ate: steak, fries, pizzas, salads, fish in 'papillote'. The setting is great as... More

Don't understand the other reviews that called staff arrogant. we had plenty of snarky waiters in france, but not at this place. everyone was very sweet and accommodating. good cidre. daughter had a VERY cheesy pizza which she loved. I had onion soup which was yummy followed by an equally yummy omelette. my wife didn't love her galette but it... More

Had two meals in this restaurant and I had the same both times as the first time was just so delicious. The food is excellent and is great quality. I had melon with parma ham which is so tasty and the Margerita pizza which tastes like proper Italian pizza. The staff are so friendly even when they were very busy... More

I should have gotten up immediately when I asked for a carafe of water with my meal and the waiter said Yea Yea Yea! It took three attempts to get same. The pizza was lackluster and cold when served. This is a tourist trap but they treat the French we'll. Stay w Away if you're American!!! Go down the street... More

The restaurant is located beside a river running through town. The hours are convenient for travelers. There is a good selection of food and wine. We ate here on two separate days.
