We have eaten here previously and the menu has changed - we think for the better. Good variety and reasonable prices. Their pizzas were tasty and wine well priced and good quality. What we really liked was the friendly, efficient and professional service - especially by Fred. We had eaten in Honfleur the previous evening, the meal was horrible, expensive and... More

Stayed in Bayeux for 3 nights, ate here the first night and went back every evening. Centrally based and always busy but we didn't have to wait to be served. Good choice of menu with a friendly service. Would recomend the Beefburger Rustique which was quite diiferent from the norm and the sweets.

We had a pleasant meal on a holiday afternoon. Full terrace and nearly full inside. The menu leans toward pizza, crepes, and sandwiches--and ours were well executed. Service was competent. We enjoyed our meal, but it left no strong impressions except for the Crepe Normand which was large and tasty

I was in Bayeux for a few days and ate here a few times. I liked all the food I had except for the pizza. I think the best part was the desserts! We had a banana split and peach melba- both were delicious! It is in the middle of town and seems to always be open.

Ate here on a brief visit to Bayeux. Not surprisingly given its location close to the tapestry the restaurant was busy and the terrace full however we were able to eat inside. The waiter was very friendly and service efficient. There is a wide menu with pizzas, crepes, omelettes, steak etc. We were a group of 5 and all enjoyed... More

We had lunch one day and dinner the next night. It was convenient for us as it was just across the bridge from where we were staying. We enjoyed the well prepared food on the comfortable patio in front.

We sat on a lovely terrace in the sun and both ordered the Entrecote Grillee at 16.50 euros each, cooked to medium. On arrival, all looked well but at first cut it was apparent we'd been served two awful pieces of meat. Around the edge of these rib steaks was pure fat and gristle and even with steak knives, it... After a few days in Paris with slow service and crazy prices I needed a break and so did my wallet! I decided to spend a couple of days in Bayeux and visit all the cemeteries, monuments, museums, etc. Stopped in Le Garde Manger for dinner and we had a liter of Evian, the Le Rustique and the Steak Grille.... We went to see the tapestry and were leaving for Paris but decided to have lunch in Bayeux. Good choice! Great staff and food. The view outside highlighted the Cathedral. Next time in Bayeux will stop by again

Busy place but staff well able to handle it. Sat outside, lovely sunny eve. Enjoyed the food (3 courses x 3) and wine - can recommend the sausage with camenbert, French onion soup, rustic burger & coffee gourmand, delish!
