We first came here a few years ago, found it quite by accident. Have just returned from a weeks holiday in a gite south of Bayuex and went looking for somewhere to eat. Found Le Triskell and even though I am not a fan of crepe's and galettes the other 3 members of my family are and even I will... More

What a brilliant find, tucked away down a pathway next to a water mill. And they dished up definitely the most delicious galette we've ever had! The ladies who served us were friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed - a real highlight of our day in Bayeux.

The restaurant is nestled between an operating mill and 16th century alley. Completely charming. Service is excellent. The galettes are salty buckwheat crepes with cheese and ham. The froments are sweet flour crepes. Both delicious.

Lovely location and close to centre of Bayeux and its attractions, tucked away in a corner. Pictoresque with seating outside and in. The service was dreadful. Very very long wait for order to be taken and then food to be served. Don't mind a bit of waiting but this was way beyond acceptable. Only half the tables taken so they... More

We stumbled on this little restaurant after passing loads of other places basically offering the same tourist type menu's and were starting to get fed up with central Bayeux. The place is very simply furnished and there was only one other couple in there but every where else was also quiet so we went for it. Service was very friendly... More

Super friendly staff, excellent crepes, outdoor seating weather permitting, nice setting, easy walk to cathedral and tapestry. Get there early!

We stumbled upon le Triskell while walking along the river in Bayeux; the cafes in town seemed a tad too touristy so we were looking for something else and voila! Le Triskell creperie appeared. A couple that was leaving the restaurant said it was "delicious" so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. I had a... More

A little treasure hidden away from the main street next to the rivers edge (look out for the Watherwheel). A simple menu of crepes and galettes beautifully prepared. Salads vegetables tasted as though they had just been picked from the garden. A relaxing ambience ideal for a lazy lunch watching the world go by. I could have sat here all... More
