Conquer your Norman thirst here!

We had planned to spend only an hour in this pub, just to satiate our hunger and thirst for a quick drink but ended up staying for SEVEN hours! The French owner and his Irish wife were delightful hosts and mix a lethal cocktail called Ambush. Man, it's the right name alright! You wouldn't know... read more

We chose this "pub" based on reviews we had read. The pub was quiet, but the owners were quite nice, they showed my children where the games were stored to keep them occupied until our meal arrived. The food was decent but not exceptional. We ate fish and chips, omelette, and my children had chicken nuggets and hot dogs.

We went to this pub based on the trip advisor recommendation and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere was perfect and the food was great. We had the tomato soup that was terrific and fish and chips. It was just what we were looking for. Before we left I asked the owner where I could buy a hair dryer as... More

Delicious soup, fish and chips, comfortable chairs, clean tables, and reasonable prices! This was the only day we were able to afford two meals out in one day. Hurrah! And the couple who owns/runs it was extremely kind as well. A nice break from French cuisine and prices. Really convenient location if you're visiting the tapestry.

This quaint, hospitable pub is owned by a couple, one Irish, one French, both delightful. It draws the local crowd and travelers as well. We ate supper there and were well-pleased. The owner advised us to come back the next day for lunch for their special tomato/cheese soup. We did--and it was as good as they claimed! Great place to... More

We had dinner here twice. For me it was the Fish and Chips, the best I've had in years, and the cold beer. Dara and Marc are great hosts. Provide a great place with a laid back atmosphere to come eat and decompress after a day touring the D-Day Beaches and the British Cemetery. You won't go wrong spending and... More

This became our home away from home during our stay in Bayeux. Marc and Dara are charming hosts and are the most friendly of folks we met on our entire two week trip throughout France. Fish and Chips are outstanding along with a great selection of beer. You'll love it!
