Very average, cost us £8.70 for a beer and a bottle of water. We had every intention of sitting down for something to eat but the menu was that limited we went elsewhere.

Bonjour Ryan, Here at Le Conquerant we are a pub which offers simple good food at reasonable prices. It is true , our menu is not vast as we are a small business, and want to stay with our principle of simple good food at reasonable prices. I don't understand that you can say things were " very average" as... More

This was our first meal in Bayeux and it reminded me of a English pub. Very simple, warm friendly staff, and good food at a good price. The beer was cold and reasonably priced. Can't go wrong with a combination like that.

Walked in off the street, little did we realize it was a World Cup game night! As Americans with little interest in soccer we got some strange looks but it was a nice restaurant with a good selection of food and good service. We ate and left our seats for those with a better appreciation of "football"...

We loved the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. The place was jammed with locals. And the barkeep was very jocular and interested in helping us find the right drink. Like most places we found trying a little french endeared us. They have a nice affordable selection of the local ciders and some fun boozy concoctions for "students." Their very affordable... More

We stayed in Bayeux for 2 nights and both nights ended up at Le Conquerant. They had a projector set up to watch the World Cup games which was awesome. The staff was so friendly and helpful, drinks are incredibly reasonably priced, and we had a great time. There's indoor & outdoor seating depending on the weather which was really... More

My family of 4 stopped here after visiting the Tapestry Museum. The location choice was against my usual judgment since it's right next to a tourist attraction and sports a sign saying English spoken here. I speak french so I try to go where it's the only language used. But the rest were hungry and we went. Fish & chips... More

Having been eating French Bistro food for 3 weeks we were looking for something a little different and based on Tripadvisor reviews gave Le Conquerant a try. We were not disappointed. Inexpensive, friendly service and Belgian beer on tap. It hit the spot. The place is a basic Irish pub with a simple menu and bar. It is located adjacent to... More

We enjoyed this restaurant very much. We ended up eating there several times, simply because it was good and reliable and we felt very comfortable there. Each time we went, we tried something different. All items were good. The beer was good and cold. Fries were hot and crispy. The fish and chips were excellent. Desserts were excellent. One of... They were open Sunday evening when everyone else was closed. Their speciality seems to be fish and chips and it was excellent. Nice atmosphere. Right across the street from the Tapestry, easy to find.
