Le dejeuner at this charming little Creperie in the lovely town of Bayeux France was wonderful. Well situated on a corner 1 block from the Cathedral, draws you into this cute little establishment. Upon entering the well-lit, very clean, small to average size dining room, you immediately feel welcome. This speaks "casual and friendly" from the start. Self seating is... More

I liked this small creperie and had dinner here twice during my stay at Bayeux. The wait staff was pleasant and were patient with my French. The food was good and reasonably priced.

This little restaurant primarily serves crepes and galettes. The service was prompt and friendly. It is located near the Cathedral. (We were there in late May, 2013.) We stopped there for a late lunch and at that time of day (around 13:30) it was not very crowded. We found the crepes to be slightly overcooked. I had a brie and... More

This is a charming little place frequented by many locals, and it has some of the best crepes you'll find--savory as well as sweet. We had breakfast there three straight days.

Au Louis d'Or is a tiny creperie that is more often than not packed. We finally manages an early lunch and had a seafood crepe, prawns and scallops, with a hint of curry and, of course, cheese. I still can't get over the flavors. A generous portion of scallops and nice salad. I could have eaten there daily while in... More

Au Louis d'Or is a friendly local place with friendly staff, but only serves crepes and galettes. Not sure when/where the attached picture of asparagus is taken, but not here.

Service was quick, galettes and crêpes were ok, but not the best I've ever had. Cidre wasn't that tasty either but it's a question of taste!

The location next to the excellent art & history Musee Baron Gerard and Bayeux Cathedral makes this place a great choice for lunch. We were there mid week in mid June at about 1PM and the place was pretty packed at which point new arrivals were told "no tables" when they poked their heads in the door. The tables are... More

We stopped in here for lunch and had a wonderful sampling of local galettes (savory crepes). The people are lovely and you may find yourself chatting with the other patrons in the restaurant. The clientele seems to be mostly tourists with few local regulars. This is a great place to stop before or after a visit to the Cathedral.

My husband and I wandered into this little creperie in downtown Bayeux and enjoyed a lovely lunch and perfect French atmosphere. While my husband has gotten hooked on the Leffe beer, I went out of my comfort zone and tried the local cider. Yummy and yeasty and downright delicious. My sweet apple crepe was light and delicious and my husband's... More
