This is a nice location to chill out, have a few beers, and enjoy food from a very extensive menu, anything from pate to crepes to burgers to pizzas with a selection of main dishes. (I loved the pizzas). This is not gourmet dining, but good food reasonably priced. Something to eat for anyone, so... read more

This is a great little place to stop for some lunch after visiting the tapestry. We both had lovely galettes. They are so unique to France and I always try to find one when I visit. These were particularly good. We also had a pichet of cider which I have to say was fantastic. Definitely the traditional French taste.

We ate here three times in our short stay in Bayeux because the hours worked well with our schedules. We enjoyed the food, the efficiency of the service and, especially, the hours and flexibility.

Good food, nice service, only downside is that they do not take reservations and are not great at estimating when a table might open up. Go early is my recommendation!

What a find! Well actually we were staying at Hotel Reine Mathilde and we were lucky we stayed around the vicinity. The food here is a great find, and their opening hours is fantastic as well that suits everyone's needs. We went here almost 3 months ago, during the winter months and we loved the food. At one point my... More

We called here for a nice drink after walking around Bayeux, sat outside as the weather was lovely, nice friendly waiting staff, ordered a lovely bottle of cold Bordeaux. Enjoyed it so much we did the same the following day and then came back for dinner. They did seem a little short staffed on the evening but coped well. Godd... More

Part of our group had eaten here at lunchtime and said it was good so we stopped by at about 6pm. Not many places are open before 7. There is a large choice on the menu and we all (6 of us) had something different. The food was excellent, and plentiful. The service was excellent too, the waitress happily explained... More

Our guide recommended this restaurant because we could get a lighter type meal. We had a late (and large) lunch and didn't want a big meal. The onion soup was very good as was the ice cream. Our waitress was good as well.

We went to this restaurant 2 times, both times the service was excellent. It is large for the area, with inside and outside seating. The food was good, between us we had crepes, hamburgers and salads. Price was reasonable... for France!
