A brasserie with local flavor. We ate there three times in a week. The food was always fresh and well-prepared. Adequate to good service. English spoken. Try the Norman-style mussels with frites. Bet you can't finish!

Breakfast was in a very nice, relaxing room with a full European buffet breakfast. Dinner outside is very popular. One night was exceedingly slow because there wasn't enough help. The food and waiters were very good, otherwise, so check first to see how crowded it is.

My husband and I got two crepes and a pitcher of cider. The crepes were okay, but not great. The cider was delicious and the dessert crepes that other people were ordering looked amazing! The restaurant gets quite busy, so service isn't great, but they are very nice. There is a ton of outdoor seating and you do see a... More

Other restaurants in town seem to be open some of the time, but this place is open all the time. Being practically next door to our hotel, it became the default place to go for something to eat in the afternoon as most restaurants don't open for dinner until 7PM or later.

This restaurant is not too far from our hotel where we usually stay. It's got some great pizza and salads to choose from. The service is always good and we have never had a problem with our meals. We will end up there again whenever we come back to Bayeux.

We enjoyed both a delicious lunch and dinner at the outside venue of the restaurant. The food and wine were great, the service excellent, and the ambience wonderful. When in Bayeux, give it a try.

Not sure about the other comments on service. Despite my best efforts at speaking French, I cannot hide the fact that I am American. The service, however, was excellent and attentive. Even on a slightly chilly night in late October, we were able to sit outside due to the numerous heating lamps they have under the awning. As another reviewer... More

My wife and I stopped in this bistro for lunch just when the sun had come out. We had a traditional Normandy lunch of Gallettes with Cider sat outside on the terrace. The Galletts (Complet) were very good with lots of filling which we washed down with a Litre of lovely draught Normandy Cider! (Eu29) The service was friendly and... More

We ate here in 2012 and I tried an unusual pizza they had on the menu. It is a Savoy pizza with bacon, potatoes and a cream sauce. (I love the food of the savoy region, so I wanted to try it). It was fantastic and when we decided to go back in 2014, I knew I wanted to eat... More

We stopped here for a late lunch and enjoyed it so much we returned for supper and dessert later. Good service and food, I really loved the camembert cheese omlette for lunch. I had fish for supper accompanied by a nice cider. The staff was warm and friendly and we never felt rushed, it is near the Cathedral andhe Bayeux... More
