The site says it all to the seasoned traveller - directly opposite a cathedral, packed with tourists, staff who shouted at you in French, people rushed to their seats, chased for an order, food arrives ASAP, the bill is slammed down and we left as quickly as possible. Prices were kind of reasonable, but the site says it all, tourist... More

This was a nice, affordable restaurant, a great place for an authentic Normandy meal, a nice glass of wine or beer and a great little outdoor patio in which to enjoy the above. The staff is nice, too. We had stayed in this hotel the night before and had been dropped-off by our battlefield guide so we could pick-up our... More

After a disasterous experience the evening before in another restaurant this could not have been more different. Friendly and courteous staff, good selection on the menu, reasonable priced, well worth a second visit on our next trip.

Bayeux is a lovely town, and this place had a a lovely and cosy courtyard setting. Typical French cafe fare. We stayed at the hotel, so it made dinner and breakfast very easy.

We ate dinner here twice and found the restaurant to be very convenient as it is open 24x7 and you don't have to wait until 7 PM to get dinner, which can be a challenge when traveling with two teenagers. Also, the restaurant has a nice selection of meals which also made it easier to travel with teenaged since one... More

Place is nice, clean, service a bit slow and could be friendlier. Food is OK, nothing special and prices are a little higher than other restaurants. They provide a better service to hotel guests although the brasserie is open to public, that's a bad thing.

Yummy crepes and pizzas, plus very nice selection of beers and wines! Nice outdoor seating in a great location in Bayeaux.

We only visited this place for breakfast -- crepes one morning, croissants and pastries another. Good both times! The crepes come in a range of savory or sweet. Croissants, etc. as expected. Nice view of the cathedral from outdoor terrace. Only mild gripe: we like our coffee strong and large. We asked for double espresssos with a small pitcher of... More

I usually try to experience different restaurants, rarely eating at the same one twice. In four days we ate here three times and it was recommended by the very nice host at our hotel. The food is very good, typical of the area. What we loved was the location and the service (2 of 3 times, the other time the... More

We ended our day in Normandy eating outside on a perfect late June evening. The food was delicious, reasonable for any place in Europe, and the service was great. I had a pizza that was great, but split it with my wife's crepe with ham, cheese, etc., and had a great 'combo meal.' Wine was good, after dinner cappuccinos were... More
