All ladies run that place, open for a joke and off they run to serve the full restaurant. The upper floor felt stuffy and hot, thanks god there was room downstairs.

We liked the atmosphere, which felt more authentic than some. The food, all 4 courses were very good. We liked the local touches in the menu, such as the apple with the Sea Bass which went surprisingly well. Also enjoyed the calvados in the dessert. The house wine was very reasonably priced and pleasant. Staff were friendly and service was... More

This restaurant allows you to taste true Normandie dishes. The space is a bit tight since it is a very popular eating place but worth the cramped quarters. The prices are quite reasonable and the service very pleasant.

Although the restaurant receives a truck load of tourists, it is on a quiet street that seems more atmospherically French. Service was slow, but the night was busy. The staff stayed focused on getting everyone served. The food and wine were fine. Highly recommend.

An adorable rustic Norman restaurant with delicious regional specialties (lots of apples and Calvados!). I ate there twice during a tour and both times the food was great. I especially enjoyed the creamy bean soup.

My wife and I popped in here for lunch whilst in Bayeux. Good everyday food at very good prices, the choice on the menu means you should find something you like. They and try and use only produce grown/supplied locally and the cider. Good friendly staff who will help out if you struggle with French.

This restaurant was recommended to us by relatives living in France. We didn't have a reservation but the staff showed us to a a table. Would recommend dining just after opening time of 7pm, as it can get busier later on. We chose the €25 set menu choice which was vey nice. My wife liked the scallops and the mains... More
