We have to stop here every time we are in town, we have yet to disappointed. I had the tuna and cream galette this time and it was rocking. If you looking for a crepe or galette pass all the other by and head straight here.

I came across this lovely creperie one afternoon in Bayeux. I was lucky to be served because they close after lunch until the evening. Because I was on my own they said it was ok. I had a savoury tuna crepe and it was delicious. I would definately recommend this place.

After visiting the Bayeux tapestry (amazing) we wandered through the little cobbled streets behind the Abbey and were delighted to find this little pancake house open on a sunday lunch. A variety of cheese and ham and onion panckes were ordered by us all with the gallette of the day Roquefort sauce and salad and nuts being the winner. the... More

Context Diner with friends on a saturday evening Location / atmosphere In a quiet cobbled street, the crêperie is a small cosy and warm restaurant (50 covers max). Service Great service, the waiter was funny and patient and answered all the questions we had because of the large choice we had. Food I had a camembert galette (try this if... More

Their crepe batter is fantastic, neither too thick nor too thin.Good range of salty and sweet crepes. Friendly staff and good cider...dinner for 4 for 50 euros what more can you ask for!

We enjoyed this casual creperie serving all sorts of sweet and savory flavors. I ordered one with spinach, ham & cheese which was pretty good. But the one my husband had with rich tomato sauce, ham and egg was the best one we had during our trip in France. Even with the sauce, the galette didn't get soggy at all.... More

We visited here on a trip through Normandy this summer. The service was quick, friendly and the food was very good. We both had crepes and there was a massive variety to choose from. The portions are reasonable and 2 crepes plus a shared bowl of chips filled us both up easily. They also stock lovely local cider at a... More

This petite bistro served very good food with very attentive service. We dined here 2 nights ago so I cannot recall our food selections but I do recall the feeling of satisfaction from good food and good service. We are staying in a apartment situated between the cathedral and the art museum so we are trying as many of the... More

We did not know that crepes are a speciality in Normandie. We went here on a Sunday evening when a lot of restaurants are closed in the city centre. And it was very busy. We have had a nice light meal here.

Situated just down the street from the cathedral, I found L'Insolite perfect for a quick, light lunch. Wide choice of savoury and sweet crepes, so should certainly be something to suit everyone. Small courtyard to the rear was perfect in the beautiful weather.
