Best in Bayeux

Absolutely outstanding! Try the 8 course dinner with wines pairings! Yum! Wish we could return! It has to be the best in Bayeux!

The food tastes beautiful....really...make a reservation ahead of time if possible but spacious enough to handle walk-ins, I believe. Enjoy!!

My 4 young children, my wife and I ate here back in April. Based on the reviews we decided to splurge and we are very glad we did. The food and service were amazing but it didn't break the bank. I got the high end fixed price menu, my wife the mid tier and my kids the low end and... More

We had a lovely evening at this restaurant. Each course was a delight and put together it was the best meal of an 11 night trip to France.

This was our best dinner in the 8 nights we spent in France. The service and food are excellent. We ate at some wonderful restaurants, but this was very special. The young staff are well trained and work very hard. It is chef owned.

We followed the Trip Advisor review and booked dinner at La Rapiere. It is in a quaint building, centuries old, on a side street. While you can order a la carte, the menu focuses on three levels of prix fixe. We took the middle option for 40 Euros, which we felt was a very good value. My duck foie gras... More

If you want to have a wonderful dining experience, this is the place. The food, service, and atmosphere were all first rate. We had the fixed price gourmet menu which included choices for starter/salad, entree, cheese selections and dessert as well as some small extras. This is no more expensive that a quality restaurant in a US city, but the... More

Excellent food, service is friendly without being intrusive. Good value, particularly compared with UK where this level of quality would cost significantly more.

We were made very welcome although it was nearly full and we had not booked. The food is the best I have had in France in recent years. The plates were like a work of art and tasted just as good. Worth another visit.

This was one of our best meals in 21 days in France. First course - tempura shrimp with 3 dipping sauces, followed by cod in a cream sauce for me and lamb for my wife. Next was a very tasty cheese course. Desserts were cheesecake and pastry cream over a cookie crust with ice cream and fruit. All were excellently... More
