So glad we dined there!

The food was awesome -- interesting preparations and beautifully presented. The night we were there was very busy and the service was extremely slow but the quality of the food made the overall experience worthwhile. The oysters and an appetizer made with langostino were incredible.

The staff are very friendly and spoke very good English (which is always great for visitors). And the food was well presented and the taste of it was amazing. And the restaurant was well presented. Will definitely come back here again.

I looked forward to this meal based on the numerous reviews here on tripadvisor. However, even though I booked my table more than 1 month in advance, it wasn't ready when we walked in and we were left with coats to stand somewhere in the middle for the waitress to prepare a table for 3. First other guests were served... More

The restaurant is intimate and charming. The waiters and other staff were very attentive and spoke English. We tried traditional Norman foods such as oysters, the "Norman Hole", and a fish casserole. The food was delicious, and worth the price.

We hosted a group of 14 customers and business associates for a wonderful, multi-course dinner. The staff handled our group with professionalism, charm and a bit of humor. The food was fantastic, 6 or 7 courses, 14 meals and not one miss. The presentation and taste of each dish was superb. Thank you to La Rapiere for an evening that... More

We chose this restaurant because its a reccomendation of the MIchelin guide. Service was terrible, took so long... and they are not friendly with kids. Food was OK, below the expectation. We had foie gras poelle but it was raw and full of gras. Definitely didn't liked.... MOdern decoration didn't fit with the atmosphere of the place...

Visited with a group of friends whilst visiting the area. Can't recommend highly enough, wonderful food, delightful ambiance, friendly staff especially one particular young waitress (apologies never did get your name) who was enchanting throughout. Merci Beaucoup!

Beautiful ambience, warm service and excellent food. We were seated near the fire place in this beautiful wood beamed room. Great menu selections; we both loved our entrees and the capped off with a wonderful cheese selection. Highly recommend visiting this beautiful city and then dine at La Rapier!
