Nice, relaxing dinner

Generally, our food was good, the waitress was kind, and we had a relaxing time together. This is definitely a place to take your time in, it took us almost three hours. Also is great if you like French food, I don't recommend it if you aren't a big fan...

The food here is really, really good. The place is quite small (seats maybe 10 inside) but it would be worth waiting for if you had to. When we were there, the plat du jour was medallians of pork, with a creme trois fromages and an architectural dessert made with oranges, chocolate mousse and tuilles - it was marvelous. They... We enjoyed our dinner on 1 October. It was good and, relative to other nice restaurants, not expensive. The appetizer was just so so, but my wife enjoyed her sea bass main and I quite enjoyed the Guinea he. Deserts were ok not great. Limited but very fairly priced wine list. This is a good option if your first choice... More

We went here on our second night in Bayeux. The prix fixe menu looked interesting. It's a small place which filled up quickly. Portions were largish. Wines were great as was the dessert.

We popped in at around 7:30pm on a Saturday evening. Most of the tables in this smallish restaurant were reserved, but they were able to squeeze us in near the door. They have both the three course meal at a fixed price, or you can order all of the offerings a la carte. They had a wide range of wine... More

Compare to the other three restaurants we have had dinner this one we would not go again. Nothing bad but nothing special either.

We like to eat lunch around noon in France, as the restaurants haven't filled up and we can eat and get on with our day of exploring. If you arrive at 1 PM, expect to have a relaxing, slow-paced meal. The formule du jour, at €15, included a glass of wine, coffee and dessert. Everything was delicious, though the service... More

Very good meal and service very close to the cathedral. We had three different dishes and all were nice with good presentation. Did it "Wow" us, no but it was very good. Service was attentive but no overbearing. Recommended.

We had a fantastic meal here last summer so booked a table again this year. The meal was nice but did not get a 'wow' like it did last year. That aside I had the most perfectly cooked guinea fowl.

We chose the €15 formula and enjoyed our appetiser very much, left us wanting more. We chose the moules cooked in foie gras. Very tasty the chips were good too and came unsalted but as stated in previous reviews no salt or pepper on the table. The bill came to £ 33 which included a glass of wine each and coffee... More
