Nice dinner

We ate here one evening and it was nice and delightful. Probably our second favorite restaurant in which we ate.

The owner of the B&B I stayed at recommended this restaurant as the top choice in Bayeux. I was not disappointed. I took a chance and went when it opened for dinner (7:00) as I had no reservation. The place is small and intimate so going without a reservation is possibly a risk. The food was superb, particularly the sauces... More

Of the 3 restaurants we went to in Bayeux this was probably the best for our taste. It's traditional French brought into the 21st Century with some imaginative twists. Great. Small, central (you do have to book for dinner at least), good value, friendly and very efficient staff. The Lamb shank with garlic and chive sauce was an absolute highlight... More

If you like big portions: Don't come here. If you like delicous specialities, well prepared and arranged: visit this place! Go for (at least) a three course meal. After the sweet dessert you'll definitely be full & satisfied. Surprisingly good.

Locals only Incredibly inventive and delicious food Charming waitress,we conducted the entire evening in French Tiny, at the foot of the cathedral, which is magical when lit at night Eating there, I expanded my culinary horizons and was amazed at what could be done with already-amazing foods like duck confit and foie gras

Ate here recently with my husband and two friends and very much enjoyed our meals. Food was well prepared and nicely presented and service was also good. Three of us had the lamb tagine and found the lamb to be tender, moist and tasty. As with other restaurants in Bayeux, best to make reservations a day or so in advance... More

The restaurant is small and tucked away from the main street near the cathedral. Some but not much outside seating but it was too cool anyway so we ate indoors. We got a table on a Friday night without booking. Service was excellent. Charming, attentive and friendly. We loved the ambience. The meal was delicious, starting with an amuse bouche and... More

This was one of two restaurants we definitely wanted to try in our visit to Bayeux. It did not disappoint! Great meal.

This restaurant is very small, near the cathedral but there is also limited pavement seating. When we visited at 7pm there was only one other couple, so reservations may not be required. The food is definitely nouvelle cuisine and the portions are small. However the food quality is very good indeed. We had an amuse bouche (curried carrot soup with... More

I have rated this as one of my best meals although my wife rated a little less. For me the food was innovative but not fussy and full of flavour. I had a Pollack Tartare with a gazpacho style cold sauce (This was spectacular in flavour) and then a ' trologie of poissons' which was possibly a little more ordinary... More
