We had sauntered around Bayeux forlornly looking for somewhere to eat and found this "p'tit" treasure of the beaten track and a treasure it was, we were welcomed into the restaurant by a cheerful lady who was very attentive and seemed to be for the other guests also, she was very patient for she didn't speak much English and I... We visited this restaurant because it had good reviews and we were not disappointed. Its small and cozy and its located in front of the cathedral. The staff was really friendly and the ambiance quite nice. Their menu is quite affordable going from 15 to 35 Euros (2 to 4 courses) and their wine list was good and fairly priced.... More

During our recent visit to Bayeux, a charming Medieval town near Normandy Beach, we reserved a table for a birthday dinner after a recommendation from another establishment's owner could not accommodate us... Great find! French food with a gourmet touch! The menu is not huge but offers fresh choices that are brought from market that day and prepared! We had... More

We were recommended this restaurant by a local guide. It was amazing! The food was very fresh and the flavours innovative. We received beautiful little appetisers between meals for no additional cost. The staff were very friendly. This restaurant is NOT $$$$ it is more like $$! We paid €20 each for a three course dinner, it was very good... More

Bargain priced innovative meal with good service and great flavones. Short menu, short wine list but bases covered and food and wine quite good

We visited at lunch time and took advantage of the set menu, which was excellent value for two courses and a glass of wine. The waitress was alone but we had no complaints about the service as we weren't in a rush. We were given tiny tomato cappuccinos as a taster, followed by perfectly cooked chicken on a bed of... More

We ate here on a Monday night and had no problem getting a table. We thought service was good and the waitress attentive. This restaurant and others in Bayeux had a fixed price menu which we used. I had pork which was undercooked. I wasn't sure if that was how it was eaten in France so I did not complain... More

The restaurant had good food but the service was slow. The waitress was going as fast as she could, but she was alone. I would have given it four stars except for the service. I had the foie gras, excellent as an appetizer and the pork chop as the meal. Food was great, but I am still waiting for the... More

My wife and I went there for dinner and we both were delighted with our food and its presentation. However whatever joy we got from the food was totally eradicated by the exceptionally poor service. We sat at the table for almost 15 minutes before we were able to place our orde. And that only happened after I left the... More

This cute restaurant is located a stone's throw away from the scenic Bayeux cathedral, and is operated by a nice young French couple. In August 2013, it was underrated at #12 in Bayeux, behind some creperies that were decidedly less good - unbelievable! The restaurant is very small - seven tables inside and a further four outside - which means... More
