Wonderful restuarant

We stopped for a beer and due to the wonderful menu we decided to try the vegetable soup. We shared the soup and were very satisfied. It was plenty for both of us. We are not big eaters just warning those with needs for larger portions.

We were staying two nights in Bayeaux to visit the nearby Normandy beaches and to see the tapestry. Our first night's dinner was only so so, therefor we were interested in finding a place to have a good dinner. We were told to find the walking street area in town. As we read the various menus along the way, the... More

We loved this restaurant so much that we ate here 4 times. The pizzas were fabulous. Seafood prepared perfectly, everything we tried was very good. The host was very attentive to very guest. No matter how busy they were they still managed to open the door for each guest as they left the restaurant. They have some very old and... More

We visited this Restaurant twice in May 2015 and on both occasions were very impressed. The three course lunch menu was only 19 euros which makes it very affordable for a family meal. There were 4 choices for each course and I had the Normandy chicken on both occasions as it was so tasty. The service was friendly and the... More

We first went to this restaurant 3 years ago - based on trip advisor reviews. We returned and we're pleased to see its just as charming, just as tasty and with the same great service! Each occasion we have ordered the 3 plate meal and enjoyed every dish. I had escargot as my starter, veal scallop Normandy style for my... More

Staff very friendly and we had a pleasant meal but were left a little disappointed. The steak had a good flavour but was quite gristly and my chocolate fondant pudding was very dried out.

We came here cause the restaurant opposite turn us away claiming they were full, which we doubt it but we won't go there. The service is unpredictable, depending on the waiter/waitresses. Being France, one eventually comes to expect this kind of service. I had my foie gras pate entrée and breast of duck for my main. The portion was generous... More

We ate here twice, the first because of TA, the second because our other choice was full. I'm sorry I came back. We have been in France for 10 days, so I've eaten a lot of places. This one would be just okay in the States, but worse than average here in France. One waitress was nice, but the other... More

The food is simple and out of this world. Huge portions, excellent service the only reason the delivery of service was slow was that it was made from fresh and that is not a complaint! We visited this restaurant twice on our three day visit and as you can imagine the food lived up to its expectations more so the... More
