Great food and value for money at a very nicely situated place!

We had crepes and galettes and wine for lunch overlooking the river L'Aure at this quaint mill. It is neat the town center and the museum of tapestry. The view is charming, as is the restaurant. We sat outside, but it has a cozy dining room if the weather dictates.

I love gallettes! My French friend Jean-Pierre makes the best ones but this place came a close second. The savoury selection made for a good lunch after visiting the Tapistry and the food was served amazingly fast.

We had a great day visiting the Normandy Beaches and capped it off with a wonderful dinner here. The setting next to the stream was very quaint, and the crepes were excellent. We had the Toscane, and the Forestire and were very pleased, but the dessert crepes apple/caramel, and the caramel/almond were to die for. Highly recommend.

We were referred to this restaurant by the owner of the B&B we stayed at while in Bayeux. We had just driven in from Paris, were hungry and didn't know what to expect. We both ordered Gallettes, and had the local hard cider. Food was delicious, staff was friendly, and overworked with the crowd! We were very happy and I... More

This is great restaurant right in the centre of Bayeux with walking distance from the Bayeux tapistery museum and rest of the centre. They have good selection of food - not only the crepes - we had a seafood starter which was fantastic and followed by duck which was recommended by the staff - beautiful. Staff was very friendly and... More

Set alongside a river, this was a great place to take timeout for a delicious lunch. The galette complete was fantastic. I am so glad we stumbled across this place.

Relaxed not fancy atmosphere, just what we wanted. The staff were very attentive, upbeat, professional. We sat outside on a warm May Sunday evening, enjoyed wine, crepes, Fromage and the *beautiful* terrace along the creek (river?) This is a solid choice for informal dining with an informal menu. 5 stars to Le Moulin de la Galette!!!

We almost missed Le Moulin because it was closed on Monday but fortunately, it was open Tuesday, so we had an early dinner here and we were glad we did. We had a table by a window with a lovely view of the mill (it was too cold to sit outside). The galettes were fabulous and we had crepes for... More

This is a lovely little creperie alongside a canal. We had an excellent lunch with great local cidre. A great place in a delightful town
