Great Family Dinner Place

Not too fancy, and no sticky floors. This was a great place to have dinner with our teenage daughters. The menu was simple, but had offered good choices for simple, yet delicious meals. We ate at a different place each night of our four days and unfortunately did not discover this restaurant until out last night. It was head and shoulders above the other. and the price was reasonable. Great wine, escargot and Sea Bass ( specialty of the area). If we go back to Normandy, we will eat here again.

The owner of the place where I stayed recommended Le Pommier and another restaurant a few doors down (Le P'tit Risto). Both are superb. Le Pommier is roomier and the evening I was there the weather was cool and they had a fire going in the fireplace in the center of the restaurant. I had a nicely prepared avocado salad... More

We were so happy to be able to get a table here spur of the moment. It appears that there is a side of the restaurant with white table cloths for those with reservations and a more casual side for those without. Our meal was satisfying. A nice foie gras with fruit compote, a magret du canard, and a cheese... More

The service was very good, the food outstanding. This was our first meal in Normandy, and it was superb. I had a very nice fish and my wife had beef. The owner treated us as if he had known us all of our lives. I heartily recommend it for fine dining. Much less money than a similar meal in the... More

I highly recommend this lovely restaurant. Excellent, freshly prepared food, attentive service, quiet authentic atmosphere. An experience like this is why we go to France.

Seafood was great. You are in Normandy after all! Iwe were at this restaurant twice during our stay. Recommend the sea bass and the seafood salad. My husband thought the beef was lacking on the first trip but he enjoyed the pork greatly on the second. Service is very good and I like the modern decor.

A lovely restaurant, excellent menu, good food, excellent staff, friendly and efficient. The loud American regaling her companions was ignored by all, mostly out of embarrassment.

We received this recommendation from a local and we were extremely pleased. We had the cheese sampler appetizer and the lamb special. Excellent food. Ambience and atmosphere was great. Wait staff was incredibly attentive.
