Please do not be put off by the entrance inside is fabulous!! We ate there twice on our 3 night stay! Gorgeous staff, who managed to pick up the Barnsley Accent (not easy) much better than we could do the French accent! Loved every minute of Lille and this was the icing on the cake! Please try the fish soup!... More

We ate at the Omnia during an overnight stay in Lille, having read the TA reviews prior to our visit. It's a bit of an odd entrance & had I not read the reviews, I'm not sure that we would have ventured in. The food was good & we were not rushed by the waiter, who was very pleasant &... More

We were in Lille for a weekend from UK and found this delightful restaurant in a side street. We enjoyed dinner so much that we went back the next day for Sunday lunch! The portions are huge and all so fresh and tasty, the staff were very efficient and polite, and the restaurant itself is intriguingly furnished. Why are there... More

This is the beautiful story of a former "maison close" which became a cinema, and finally a surprising and amazing restaurant. Pretty good service, plenty of places (but book your table !!!), typical dishes and goos amiance. What else do you want to send good time with colleagues or friends ?

This restaurant looked lovely and inviting from the outside on our weekend in Lille on Saturday night... if only we knew! We walked in to a lovely ambiance and the Manager said there would be a 15 minute wait at the bar which we happily bought 2 glasses of wine at... 30 minutes later we were still waiting and watching... We really enjoyed this place. We were having a real problem finding anywhere where the kids could have something simple. We were at the point of going to McDs but then spotted this across the Grand Place. We both had burgers which were great, with huge portions and great chips. Girls shared a lovely pizza. Service was very efficient. Very... More

Just off of the Grand Place in Lille, the entrance is along a narrow corridor that appeared more bingo hall than restaurant. However once inside, the restaurant opens up into an enormous room over several levels, and its history as a brothel and pornographic theatre becomes immediately clearer. Decorated in a Fin de siècle style, with large ornamental stair cases,... More

Very quirky and atmospheric with a real chequered history of the building's use! Food very good and reasonably priced
