Welcoming staff, good food & reasonable pricewise.

The receptionist was the best bit about the place, helpful, kind and thoughtful, stunning building too. It was NYE and we were booked in for 10pm. We managed to sit a bit earlier. The food was average, the service terrible. They appeared short staffed, yet complacent. We had to ask for more wine, they delivered the wrong main for my... More

The restaurant was full (best make a reservation) yet the service was top - complements to the very kind and hard working waiter. Food was very tasteful too. We did not go for the dessert but they all really looked awesome.

Very nice "Estaminet" in Lille, location in Lille Center, food is excellent : just try the Rabbit leg with Maroilles cheese and the Tartelette aux Maroilles. But better to make a reservation.

I first visited this restaurant 2 years ago where we happened upon it by chance on a very rainy winters night when other restaurants were full. Such was the impression we wanted to come back although this time we pre booked for safety. When pre booking they only give you two options 7:30pm or 9:30pm and ideally I would have... More

Visited the restaurant as a group of 16 with reservations. Enjoyed the food. Really quiet good. The service wasn't fast, but that's to be expected when you are getting good food. It is authentic regional cuisine, so it's good to try it when visiting the area. The price was reasonable, 35 euros for a 3 course meal - no wine,... More

We are never disappointed by the delicious food or service. A family favorite! Love the steak au poivre.

We ended up in this restaurant because the one we targeted was closed that evening. We should have tried to look further. We visited five restaurants during our stay in Lille and this one was the only disappointment. There was an impersonal atmosphere, the food was mediocre with bland taste. I ordered waterzooi and ended up with a bit of... More

On the day that we were, sadly, Eurostarring back to the UK, we popped in here for a last lunch. The menu of the day cost €18.50, and was first-class. We had the Waldorf salad, followed by a very refreshing rhubarb and apple dessert. There was, at lunchtime, a subdued atmosphere, mainly because the clientele seemed to be almost entirely... More
