It's a nice family restaurant with a very good service. Waiter had a chat with us and recommended us best stuff from menu. As we wanted to taste everything, we decided to take mezze - lots of small plates. Everything was so delicious.

When visiting Lille I can definitely recommend you to find your way tot the Layalina restaurant. We went back for the second time to this family-run restaurant which combines great food with an excellent service. We choose the menu number 4 which will guarantee an evening of exciting tastes including drinks and several cold and hot dishes and a dessert..

We visited the restaurant based on the reviews on Tripadvisor. It is locatated about 10 minutes walk from the Palais des Beaux-Arts, very easy to find. We decided to make a reservation as it was Friday night and also because this place is very popular. Plenty of food and drink choice. We asked for their recommendation and went for the set... More

We went the second week of Dec, easy to find once my smart phone GPS started working. Once we arrived we were seated immediately. To keep this short, the service, food and price were great; every bit as good as restaurants I have eaten at in Beirut. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Lebanese food... More

We made the effort to walk of the beating track to find this restaurant following great reviews. Not only was it worth it, the food and, in particular, the service were outstanding. We had a 4 month old baby in tow and were welcomed as friends from the point we walked through the door. Our host also took the time... More

We had reserved a table and were a little early and the first people in the restaurant but were welcomed and ushered in whilst they continued to prepare for service. We ordered the mezze for three which was excellent value at under 17 euros per person. Service was very attentive but discreet and didnt change as the restaurant filled up.... More

Layalina is a bit away from the beaten track I suspect. I used an app on my phone ( Poynt ) to wend my way from the Novotel Suite Hotel and down some streets my wife was not overly keen on. Lille would benefit from some investment in its drainage infrastructure as some aroma's on the way were horrendous. When... More

The restaurant is a typical, 100% original Libanese restaurant. The owners are a married couple from Libano, the husband is the waiter, the wife is the cook. The food is fantastic! We had the Menu # 1 and with only 15.40 euro per person you can have 6 different starters and 1 main course (composed by 4 different dishes). Everything... More
