Nice place, nice food

Very small and cosy. Nice service from front of house. Really decent food made from decent ingredients. Roast pork came with a little of the best black pudding ever. Very good cheeses. Puddings were ok. In all it was the best meal of the weekend. I would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed it so much last year we visited again. Nothing had changed. Food options fairly limited but all looked beautifuly prepared and presented. It is a bit pricey so we dispensed with deserts and coffee, and drank more water and less wine as you do! Had hare with a wonderful sweet meat jus cep mushrooms and mash (potato/parsnip). Outstanding dish.... More

All ingredients where freshly cooked in a very tasty way. Looks like a local, tates like a regional and costs like a national. It is just a tad pricy - would recommend a 15% drop., however well prepared. As any chef is rarely good on all aspects, avoid the desserts they sound good but they are the weak point, go... More

The atmosphere is very hard to pin down, (it's not Fancy or anything more like someone's front room). The key here is being with locals excellent service and excellent food. The prices are a little on he steep side, but the food and location are nearly worth it. If your being indecisive because there are so many to choose from... More

It's not often one can say one feels at home in a foreign city but our host welcomed us warmly and made our experience memorable. L'atelier is tucked away in the old quarter. A relaxed, unpretentious restaurant set for couples, it has modern take on French dining with homage to traditional French dining like the menu which is etched on... More

This is a superb little restaurant in the old quarter of Lille, warmly hosted by the owner serving top notch French cuisine. We started with boudin noir served on sweetly melting apple sauce and finely dressed with fresh green salad. This was followed for me by an unctuous lemon risotto topped with red snapper and for my husband minced duck... More

Simple two (or three) course lunch. We had mushrooms to start (various mushrooms) and cod for main. Just beautifully cooked and a perfect meal to end our Xmas break.

The meal here was delightful -great service, fabulous flavours, good portion sizes.More top end bistro than fine dining but a great meal to end the day with and very relaxed.would thoroughly recommend-a relaxed and pleasnt experience. As noted before some kitchen smells but not unpleasant-will definitely go back.Reserving is vital

There is no shortage of restaurants in Lille, so it took a bit of searching to find this one and am I glad we did! Every aspect of our experience had been excellent. The madame was very helpful in spite of the restaurant being full on the night we visited. She remained prompt and friendly and treated each table as... More
